About this deal

Wireless music in all your rooms with real HIFI sound quality. That’s what this multiroom addon lineup brings to you. Play whatever you want from your whole house. The Audio pro multiroom speakers deliver a full HIFI experience to enhance all your music. With great audio quality the Audio Pro Addon C3 vs C5 vs C10, and drumfire speakers deliver your music in style.

Earlier on we mentioned that there are four preset buttons on top of the Addon C3. These save both internet radio stations and individual playlists, putting all your favourite content right at your fingertips. We saved BBC 6Music to one of them, and a few different genre-themed Spotify playlists to the others. They time with metronomic precision, but temper it with the kind of dynamic sense that captures rhythmic emphasis nicely. And that dynamic expression is a strong positive over the speakers’ entire performance, able to reflect lavish shifts and subtle nuance alike. It simply does everything right, and without fuss.

What Hi-Fi? Awards 2020 winner. For sound quality at this price, this system is unbeatable

When you move from T3 to C3, the dimensions are similar, and they all have the sophisticated interface touches we’ve come to expect from Audio Pro. For a wireless speaker at this price, the textured surfaces and embossed leather carry handle are rather sophisticated. The original C10 was a multi-Award winner, so the fact the MkII manages to improve on its sound quality at all is nothing short of a miracle. The MkII's updated port design results in noticeable gains through the low end, while bass is marginally cleaner and tighter. The performance is a touch more expansive too, particularly through the lower registers.

The Sonos One is yet another well-liked wireless speaker. It is also well-regarded for its high-quality sound and compatibility with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. Still, its cost is comparable tо the C3. Also, while the Audio Pro Addon C3 is portable and supports many zones, the Sonos One does not. The Audio Pro Addon C3 perfectly blends contemporary and traditional styles. The speaker’s rectangular design is simple and sophisticated, thanks to its rounded corners. The Audio Pro Addon C3 supports all the main streaming services, including Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, and Apple Music. If you use a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi link, the setup is easy. When configuring a multi-room setup, the app looks for other Audio Pro speakers on the same network in the region. Thanks to the materials utilized, the speaker’s construction is of great quality. The MDF wood used for the body is aesthetically pleasing and contributes to superior sound. verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{ The sound of both C5 and C10 felt very self-assured. Every song or podcast was almost exactly like it should sound. The power usage is double on the C10 which is normal for its larger footprint and heavy sound output. There was a good bass response from both. The bigger C10 weighs more and also performs louder than C5. In a small room, the C5 will perform fine but outside it might struggle. The app is good too, it’s easy and fast to set up. You can also buy 2 or more products and link them for the multiroom feature. It will enable you to play all the devices at the same time.

Sonically speaking, the Sonos Move is satisfyingly weighty and full-bodied, with a tonality that’s nicely even-handed and not bereft of solid, deep bass. Its presentation gains in size, scale and space, as it leverages its sizeable driver to its advantage.

Older Products

Connectivity to other Audio Pro speakers is one of the speaker’s most notable capabilities. With the Audio Pro Multiroom app, you may link the speaker to additional Audio Pro Addon speakers, allowing you to play music simultaneously in multiple rooms. That way, you may simultaneously listen to music in any room in your house.

As much as anything else, your chosen path for migration to multi-room should be about whose speakers you want around your house. For us, Audio Pro makes that particular decision admirably simple. For those who own the previous C10, Audio Pro says the C10 MkII can be used as the master speaker with the older versionfollowing a firmware update. Indeed, after setting up the older C10 through the Audio Pro app, we are able to use it as the master and sync the MkII with it for multi-room audio. This could be to accommodate the new removable mesh fabric grille, which is fixed with hidden magnets. It’s a more understated and contemporary aesthetic, and more usable too, with more buttons on the top. Most importantly for this particular speaker, though, is the question of how well Audio Pro has integrated its voice control abilities, and whether there is enough reason to pay the extra over a regular Addon C5. The Addon C3 has a 9cm woofer, it measures 10cm on the Addon C5 and Addon C5A, while the Addon C10 has the largest at 13cm. The power output from the Class D digital amplification rises in similar increments: 15W, 40W and 80W respectively.

The dual 20mm textile dome tweeters and 13cm long-throw woofer that helped make the original such a sonic class-leader remain, but the tweeter grilles are now flush with the front baffle rather than slightly bulging. Small in size, big on sound, the C3 delivers astonishing audio quality for its size. The plan for Audio Pro’s Addon wireless speaker line has been straightforward. Finish the regular Bluetooth models’ architecture and sound quality, then release multi-room versions of the same speakers. It might be simple but it’s very effective. Without losing its predecessor's impeccable timing, the new C10 MkII offers a slightly more even presentation. We stream Daniel Avery and Alessandro Cortini’s Illusion Of Time and are treated to a neutral and transparent presentation where each musical passage and atmospheric element is given its due diligence. Leading edges of notes throughout the more lyrical passages are clearer and more perceptible. If you have listened to one of Audio Pro’s Addon speakers before, the new signature should still be recognisable. Thanks to the physical design of its speakers, Audio Pro has always managed to give a great deal of body to its sound, and that is still the case. That slightly altered reflex port is still doing a job supporting the taut low-end delivered by the Addon T3+’s woofer, and the richness of its tone is present right the way up through the register as the tweeters reach their highest note. The usual connections, wired and wireless, are featured, with the A10 having capacity for 3.5mm aux, Bluetooth 4.0, Apple AirPlay, wi-fi andSpotify Connect. It also supports MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and Apple Lossless formats.
