About this deal

They bought over Dolmar in 1991 making them one of the strongest in the Outdoor Power Equipment market. My one complaint with this offer is the charger, which is a very low power, passively cooled unit, which takes about three hours to charge the batteries. Cut approx 150m2 of lawn that was fairly long and damp and it did it with ease, and only used about 1/4 of the batteries. Fitted with a lever to alter cutting height, settings range from 20mm to 75mm, for a controlled finish. If you already own Makita 18V compatible batteries and charger, then the mower only is the best option.

A generous 40-litre grass box is simple to empty and features a grass level indicator to save wasted trips to the compost bin. This is a 36V mower (Twin 18V) and is suitable for lawns up to 950 square metres and comes with a dual port charger and 2 x 5. The DLM530Z is equipped with four battery ports; four batteries can be fitted to the mower and using the manual battery selection switch you may select which battery pair to use. Just below the reviews we have also included two compatible batteries and a charger if you want to know which battery and charger are required. The Makita DLM382PG2 has no pipe across the handle which means the grass bag is easier to remove to empty and pop back into place unlike other conventional lawnmowers. The grass collection box has a capacity of 40 litres with a visible level indicator and cutting length heights of 20 – 75mm, which can easily be adjusted by a single lever.

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system. The Makita DLM382CT2 is a Twin 18V LXT 380mm Cordless Lawn Mower that is powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series. Genuine Makita batteries have STAR Protection built in which is the communication technology between the tool and the battery to monitor the conditions and exchange data in real time to protect against overloading, over-discharging or over-heating.

Toolstop Limited is a credit broker, not a lender and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 737231). In addition, this lawn mowerhas an electronic current limiter for overload protection and user safety. It’s a smallish lawn but the grass was a bit wet and a little long so I set the blade at a moderate height (40) and took it gently.

With no trailing wires and no pull start as with petrol lawn mowers, the Makita DLM382CT2 is a more practical and efficient alternative with zero emissions and lower noise and vibration levels. When tackling longer grass set the cutting height to the maximum 75mm and pass over the lawn, once you have completed this simple adjust the cutting height down and pass again until you reach the desired length. Boasting a 38cm cutting width this lawnmower is perfect for homeowners wanting to trim shorter grass or tackle longer grass by using the single lever which can adjust the cutting height through 6 stages from 25-75mm. The mower features a single lever cutting height adjuster that allows the user to easily select from 13 different heights ranging from 25 to 75mm. They require no flammable liquid storage and much less maintenance than their petrol counterparts, making them more suitable for today's environmentally conscious lifestyle. Now I am not someone who spend hours in the garden, but I do like both my front and back gardens to look really nice.
