Do you like farming? It doesn’t matter, because this is Clarkson’s Farm. Jeremy Clarkson along with a few of his farming fellows including Kaleb take us on a hilarious journey of what farm life is all about. If you like shows which are based around friendships and have a kind of buddy feel to them, this is one of a flurry that I’ve been watching this year. It’s in English/Hindi, and you’ll need subtitles to watch it, but it’s a good watch.The 5th season of Cobra Kai get started in 2022, so it’s a great time to binge watch this series with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
Take comedy and humour, add in entertainment and mix it with travel and some interesting facts about cool places, and you get this show. I won’t put in any more spoilers, but it’s been a brilliant watch and definitely binge-worthy. The only bad thing is the spelling of “Honour” which is spelled Honor (since it’s an American show). It’s a brilliant show, and if you haven’t already seen it, you should catch up starting from the beginning. It’s a bit of a slow burner, but you’ll be glad you invested your time.
Disney dripped the episodes out to 1 per week which meant that you couldn’t binge watch the entire thing, but once all 8 episodes of the series have been aired after March you’ll be able to watch them all at your leisure. It’s a documentary style series starring Kal Penn, who looks at different aspects of the economy in each episode. In 2023 Season 2 of Winning Time began in August, and once again it’s great. Showtime have announced that the series has been cancelled, and Winning Time Season 2 will be the last.
The story set over 3 summers, 1993, 1994, and 1995. That is what Cruel Summer is all about. This is a brilliant coming of age story about 2 teenage girls, Jeanette Turner and Kate Wallis. Silicon Valley is based around a tech start up in, you guessed it, Silicon Valley. It’s a comedy drama kind of show, mostly about 5 guys who are friends and programmers. It goes from a new start up Pied Piper, and over 6 seasons the show has evolved from there. It’s actually kind of hard to describe the show, but it’s a comedy drama series of working class friends from the North. Following their lives and tribulations which usually included stealing, drugs, drinking and getting up to all kinds. The internet has been full of people asking all kinds of questions about Prime. Such as what’s the difference between Prime Hydration and Prime Energy. Prime Hydration is a sport drink and claims to contain less sugar than Gatorade and have fewer calories. Prime Energy is reputed to be a direct competitor to Red Bull and contains caffeine. There’s tons of other supporting characters throughout the series, including cameo appearances from lots of celebrities. It’s so easy to binge watch an entire season in no time at all.In 2023 The Bold Type is now available on the BBC iPlayer, with all 5 seasons being able to be streamed and binge watched. The way this is shot is so unique and brilliant. Each episode is based on 1 day of the summer, but in all 3 different years. We see the whole summer unfold and find out exactly what is going on.
