About this deal

So, completely swore off ALL self tanner, until this year. Since I work online, and the lighting in my house is NOT great, I was using makeup to hide my yellow skin tone (nothing beats having your students think your in liver failure...except when they compare you to Trump). A. Pure is colourless, meaning it has zero guide colour and won't transfer after application. Most of our Pure products will develop 6 hours after application and will continue to develop on the skin for 24 hours, as it contains dual tanning actives to build your glow. Now that your body is prepped, find somewhere with good lighting, in front of a mirror. Being able to see where you applying will ensure you have covered all areas and rubbed it all in. WARNING: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

Bondi Sands has really taken self tanning to the next level, creating a range that caters to all skin complexions, whether you’re looking for a gentle glow or to bring out your most sun-kissed skin yet. Need to start with I bought the dark. Not because I am naturally dark, but because I was trying to get one that wouldn't have that "sun-kissed glow" crap, because I turn ORANGE. Even w/professional spray tans. I have an olive complexion and vitiligo – a condition where certain areas of my skin have lost the melanin – so finding a self tanner that doesn’t make my patches go orange is a difficult task to say the least. I think I may have found it in the Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Foam, though.

Bondi Sands FAQs

Actually, the darker my skin gets with natural UV, the more my skin turns ashen, because of how muted my skin tone is. So, anything made to give the glowing, brown tan, isn't going to work on me, even when my skin is light and yellow, because the red in the "glow" will mix and turn me orange. Tan or olive complexion that may tan easily. Can be any tone but usually pulls on the warmer side and is often bronzed. Dark skin If you prefer a more gradual tan, try Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk which can be used daily to build up a natural-looking tan. Which Bondi Sands tan is best for dark skin tones

There is no instruction on the bottle on when to reapply, or if there is anything that needs to be done differently when you reapply. So, not sure if next use will be as awesome as this one. Has to go on unmoisturized, exfoliated skin, so the skin on my face, hands and joints felt REALLY tight, even after moisturizing for a full day on Monday. So, it isn't moisturizing enough for someone with really dry skin.AQUA (WATER), DIHYDROXYACETONE, BIS-PEG-18 METHYL ETHER DIMETHYL SILANE, ISOPROPYL PALMITATE, ETHOXYDIGLYCOL, COCOGLYCERIDES, SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE/VP CROSSPOLYMER, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA) BUTTER, THEOBROMA CACAO (COCOA) SEED BUTTER, GLYCERYL STEARATE, CETYL ALCOHOL, STEARYL ALCOHOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM METABISULFITE, ERYTHRULOSE, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), CHLORPHENESIN, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CI 14700 (FD&C RED NO. 4), CI 19140 (FD&C YELLOW NO. 5), GLYCERIN, CETYL PHOSPHATE, CI 42090 (FD&C BLUE NO. 1), SODIUM HYDROXIDE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, COUMARIN. What a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t looking to get darker; I wanted the tan to give me a more-even complexion, and to give my melanin its time to shine. It was super-easy to apply, and I didn’t need to wash it off after. My all-white-everything bedding thanked me as, although I used long sleeves for precaution, there was no residue left on them. It dried to touch very fast and I got on with errands as the tan developed. After rinsing, apply a thin layer of Bondi Sands Thirsty Skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum on to wet skin to hydrate, then finish with a moisturiser.

I’ve been using this now for over 6 months and still love it! I reapply every five days, but only one coat, as I still have color from before. I also don’t exfoliate every time, just every other, and do use a moisturizing body wash every time I shower, with or w/o intent of using the self tanner. I am not orange!!!! So that, in itself, beats out all the others. I don't even have an orange tint. So, when I saw my first dermatologist, around 22 years old (for my dry skin, btw, not my skin color, but obviously it was brought up, since the light colored eyes make it look like I am not mixed, but rather a fake and bake...), and he told me that my UV exposure from the past, could already lead to cancer down the road. And pretty much ALL of them turned me orange within a few hours of application, although one of them did okay the day of, but the next morning, I was definitely orange (do still have two more that I haven't tried. This kind, in medium and another one, but probably won't, since I know this one works). It takes Bondi Sands tan at least four to eight hours to develop, so give it some time before you jump in the shower. Some people like to tan before bed so they wake up glowing! Alright so after I completed the application which was around 5 pm I went on with my day and initially I was really pleased with the color I had. You can reapply once a week or once every two weeks. It is a personal choice and it is all about finding out what works best for you! Use long strokes to evenly sweep the tan over your body, working in small sections to make sure the tan is nicely blended. A little darker than fair-skinned people, but still pale. Light skin can be any tone but usually pulls more neutral to warm. Medium skin
