Reminiscences of green apple and pear welcome the palate to a bloomy and slightly herbaceous flavor, delightfully fresh and gentle at the same time, with a fine perlage. Inspired by Gaetan Picon’s grandmother’s recipe, Picon was born in 1837 and is today the aperitive by excellence which accompanies beer in the North and East of France. Our aged rums are matured for a minimum of 3 years and up to 20 years in oak casks of various origins: new French casks, former Cognac casks from France and former Bourbon casks from the US.

Our rum-based creations are devoted to exploring new, natural and authentic flavours typical of Martinique. The barrels chosen for Forty Creek Barrel Select are selected for their unique characteristics and the rich earthiness they provide to the spirit. Reduced slowly and progressively to 40% alcohol by volume, our amber rums are matured 12 months in oak tuns, according to the AOC Martinique standards. The saga starts in 1660 when Nicolas Fouquet, superintendent of finances to King Louis XIV, acquires land in Martinique with the intention of building the largest kingdom of the French Caribbean. Trois Rivières is especially famous for the quality of their aged rums, rare vintages and «Grandes Cuvées».
