I'd recommend re-setting the 380GW to default settings, then re-connecting to the app from scratch. The first thing I thought of was, no pendulum vibration like the current mountings and as advertised, more discrete.

If you go into My Computer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) you will be able to see the Dash Cam listed as a drive, usually called NEXTBASE.
