Tokyo's prestigious Kokusai Forum was the venue for the show, which was recorded for live FM Broadcast across Japan, and it features plenty of the tunes from their seventh album, Euphoria, released on 8 June 1999. Seriously, considering it’s length, it still retains Hysteria’s iconic sonic punch whilst bathing in theatrical nirvana. The album's goal, set out by producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange, was to be a hard rock version of Michael Jackson's Thriller, in that every track was a potential hit single. Its hard to sum up this album but my favorite memories of this was when I would listen to this album on the way to vacation in Wild Wood NJ which was an obscure amusement ride mecca.Emerging in the late '70s as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Def Leppard gained a following outside of that scene by toning down their heavy riffs and emphasizing melody. This bold new approach to the orchestral hits formula sees new vocal and guitar recordings from the band. Built from a process of meticulously deconstructing and reconstructing their classic tracks, as well as some lesser-known gems, they have intertwined audio fragments from original tapes performing them alongside the iconic orchestra.

The album charted in the top ten both sides of the Atlantic and also featured a collaboration with country and Western star Tim McGraw on Nine Lives. Had an on off relationship with the Leps over the years but have to day this album is the best since Hysteria. The picture disc features the main album artwork on disc one side A and Ross Halfin promo photos on sides B, C and D.
