This is a light-hearted adventure in typical Peppa Pig fashion, but there's a nice little moral about equality and sharing. The book is the perfect length for a bedtime story and kept both of my children engaged. It did a good job of explaining the coronation and reiterating what they have been learning in nursery/school.

The story revolves around Peppa and the playgroup learning what a coronation is. It is not really anything to do with the coronation in real life, the book revolves around the playgroup each taking a turn at being a king of queen of the playgroup. The book has a good message and undertones of being a good monarch and person and everyone getting along.

My daughter loves Peppa Pig but she has not quite had the same love for this story as others, I think maybe because it is a little less expansive and exciting. She has been enjoying me reading it to her though.
