It sits at the top of Coleman’s camping airbed range – we tried the single bed, but there's also a double version and an epicly large ‘raised double’ iteration that's bigger than many actual mattresses we've slept on. This ultra durable airbed is 47% more puncture resistant, 25% stronger and up to 42% lighter than most standard PVC beds!Far sturdier than other brand I have used, hold air better although in very hot conditions does loose a little air after a couple of days. I bought this last year thinking that paying a bit more would get me a quality mattress, unfortunately after only a few uses (7-8 nights) last season, when we went to use it for the first time this year it just would not stay inflated. Comfort: Purchased for myself and husband for more comfort when camping, have used normal airbeds for years so decided (well, I did! Made from REACH compliant PVC with a soft-touch brushed polyester surface, the airbed is soft to the touch, and features 24 internal inflatable ‘coils’ for better comfort.

Having had the forethought to try it before I actually needed it I can confirm that unfortunately it does lose a LOT of air over the space of one night. A keen climber, mountaineer and scuba diver, he is also a dedicated weather enthusiast and flapjack consumption expert.

Durability: Can't testify to this yet as so far only used for 3 nights, will edit this review in 3 years when it has been through the test of time! This clever double airbed features the Dual Chamber offering two separate air chambers so that each user can define their own level of comfort. When I bought this the promotional video had footage of it being driven over by a quad bike so I assumed it was hard wearing and durable but after only one season of use which was only 8 nights use the segments inside the air bed that are attached to keep both sides an equal distance apart when inflated started to detach resulting in huge bubbles on 3 different sections of the bed making it useless! Proven to be 47% more puncture resistant, 25% stronger and up to 42% lighter than other airbeds, this airbed can stand up to the rigors of family camping.I pumped it up 3 times in one day, including just before bed and the 2nd night pumped it up just before bed, both nights ended up pretty much sleeping on the floor!
