Also known as Tsul ‘Kalu, this Indian legend has some real weight. A rumored giant humanoid monster, Tsul ‘Kalu appeared in the season finale of Mountain Monsters third season and is the second monster of the new season to be a subject in three episodes. A Monster's level increases every four meals it is fed, up to a maximum of twenty levels. ( Food can be made in a Bakery.) When a Monster's level increases, so do the number of coins it earns per minute, the maximum amount of coins it can hold, and the amount of food necessary for each of its meals. It also gets bigger within its space(s) on the island, at levels 4, 10, and 15. At level 4, it can be used for breeding. Reaching level 15 will allow a monster to be placed on Gold Island, or sent to Ethereal Island or Shugabush Island, depending on the Monster. Yes. After a two-year hiatus, the show migrated from Destination America to Travel Channel in season three. The Single Element Ethereals are obtained by breeding a Triple Element Monster with a Quad Element Monster on the Natural Islands. These Monsters are hard to acquire since there is only about a 1% chance per try of breeding them on the Natural Islands. They can then be teleported to Ethereal Island when fed to level 15, to breed together to make the double-element Ethereals.

Mythical Monsters are a class of Monsters that used to be exclusive to the Playstation Vita, but they were later added to the main release in 2019. These Monsters manifest two elements, Mythical ( ) and Dream ( ). Near the end of September 2022, Mythical Island was released, an island housing all of the Mythical Monsters. On this island, you can breed the Mythicals found on the Natural and Fire Islands with Cataliszt, the Dream elemental, to get Dreamythicals.

Supernatural Monsters are a special class of Monsters that include Wubbox and the Wublins, all of which manifest one element, Electricity ( ). These Monsters are special in that they require Monsters to be activated. Wubbox are activated by boxing Natural/Fire Monsters into them, and Wublins are activated by Zapping Monster eggs into them. The Wubbox on Ethereal Island is part of the exclusive Superethereal class due to requiring Ethereal Monsters to be boxed in.

Rare Monsters are a variant of regular Monsters that are more difficult to obtain when available for a limited time. These Monsters have the same song and animation of their common counterpart (with the exception of Rare Wubbox), but they generate more Currency. Outside of the Rare Single-element Monsters, they also have the same breeding combination, however their breeding time is longer. Once you obtain a Rare, you can breed it together with it's common version to get that common Monster 100% of the time. All productions for television follow a script of some sort for time frame adherence and continuity. A script gives the on-air talent and storytellers behind the scenes a framework to piece together a coherent story. Producers for Mountain Monsters let the team be their natural selves on camera, and the team and producers determine which legendary “monster” is the focus of each episodic shoot. Rare Monsters would be of the same species as Natural ones: they would be, as expected, variants of their common counterparts, much like dog or cat breeds. So you put your hand out in front of you and you start with the finger from the other hand, and every time you run up a finger or thumb, then you breathe in, and then you pause at the top, you breathe out as you run down the other side. And you pause at the bottom. And you go all the way across your whole hand. And then when you get to the end, then you take a breath, you shake it out and you see how you feel now.
