About this deal

To get a balanced design, you want to start with your largest balloons first. Arrange them across the length of your tape/arch as evenly as possible. Add in the next largest-sized balloons spreading them out evenly and work your way through until you reach your smallest-size balloons and any additional decorations or speciality balloons. Light up letters have been a wedding trend for a good few years now and are a lovely way of dressing up a big space. Most wedding venues will have a list of recommended vendors where items such as floor standing light up letters can be hired from (there are strict rules around things like PAT testing for health and safety reasons) but this can end up being quite expensive. You can get balloons in any colour you can think of and in a multitude of different finishes, shapes and sizes.

This is a great craft to use up fabric scraps, (if you don't have any scraps you can always buy fabric or lace remnant bundles from suppliers online) or fat quarter bundles that have been cut into strips. Once the vases are filled, you can then slowly and carefully start to add water. This water will fill in any spaces around the gel beads and give the illusion that they have completely disappeared so that your decorations look like they are suspended in the water.Attach your LED curtain to the top bar. Some strings of curtain lights will come with hooks attached for easy hanging, others will just be attached to a main wire. If you only have a main wire to hang them by, the easiest way to do this is by using velcro cable ties. This vintage and rustic take on a table chart display from HobbyCraft is another easy DIY that anyone can replicate!

This easy flower headband is a glamorous accessory for the bride and I think it’s suitable for anyone in the wedding party. Most balloon arch kits will come with balloon arch strip tape (or balloon clips if it's a solid frame arch) and glue dots to help you secure your decorations together. Build up the layers of paint around the centre of the acrylic sheet so that it is opaque. If you are finding this hard to do with a paint brush, your can swap to a foam brush and stipple the paint on to fill any gaps or streaks. No need to worry – you can also make tassel bunting instead. Tassel bunting looks great when strung up outdoors as it can flap and move with the breeze. Floor standing light-up letters look great when displayed at the edge of the dancefloor or in front of the top table during the wedding breakfast. If you have an evening reception planned they can also be a great way to decorate the entrance of the venue to give some added wow factor.Cricut machine – this project could be made using any Cricut machine but if you're only buying one to use for wedding based crafts we'd suggest purchasing the small but mighty Cricut Joy If you're having a rustic-themed wedding, plain hessian bunting paired with a white cotton or lace fabric bunting looks fabulous. If it's a spring wedding, why not go for pastels or bright colours?

Wedding bunting and garlands bring character, warmth and colour to any size room of space instant. With a range of different lengths available, you can hang them across the room, above the high table, dancefloor, along the champagne bar, or in the entrance to your venue for your guests to admire as they arrive at the after-party celebrations. What better way to welcome guests to your wedding and let them know the seating arrangements for the day than with a personalised acrylic signs. Taking a wide paint brush, start to paint the acrylic sheet working from the centre outwards in long strokes. By working from the centre outwards, you should get the desired feathers effect around the edges as your brush runs out of paint. If using bias tape, lay your fabric pennant so that it sits halfway across the bias tape, fold the top of the bias tape over the flag so that it is sandwiched in between and secure with stitching. Once you reach the edge of the fabric flag, keep the bias tape folded on itself and run a line of stitching until you reach the space for the next flag. Slot the fabric into the bias tape so it's sandwiched in between, and stitch over to secure.

Once your paint is dry, flip the acrylic board over and remove the protective film from the front. This is the side we will be applying our vinyl to. Take a few strips of fabric to make your tassel, fold them in half over your hanging string or ribbon. Then use another fabric strip to wrap around and tie off your tassel – it's as simple as that!
