About this deal

A page-turning thriller packed with twists and turns, secrets, and harrowing surprises you won’t see the CARLY SEE series is a mystery series that will have you on the edge of your seat, endearing you to a brilliant and unique new character and having you turning pages, bleary-eyed, late into the night. Matthew, the eldest son of the Fowler family, is a successful businessman driven by a desire for power and control. But instead of that, you’re being dishonest, voluntarily revealing your identity to gossip magazines and sending them pictures. It is a thought-provoking journey where you’ll experience how your choices can lead to severe consequences. Wendy Gould is a happily married suburban mom who, in a moment of weakness, goes up to a hotel room with an attractive stranger.

I didn't really like Jack, felt sorry for him sure, with his wife turning up dead, his child killed, and quite frankly his job of looking at bad cops.

A man enters the room while Wendy is the bathroom freshening up to head home and make things up to her husband. Raised in the slums of eighteenth century London, Mary is sentenced to death for a petty theft at the age of just thirteen. The townspeople win the initial skirmish, but Papagayo then guns several of them down with a Gatling gun and promises to spare the rest if they turn over Hex.

It’s an old trick, the easiest way to take a company’s pulse: arrive at the beginning of the business day – on the dot – and see how many employees have bothered to show up.He is not convinced by the verdict of suicide and suspects foul play, but none of the law enforcement agencies will take the investigation any further. The plot was twisted and had no resolution - obviously a set up for the next book in the series, but there were better ways to do that. Quinton Fowler is Peter’s eldest son, who is very sympathetic and sensitive about the issues within his family. The riveting true story of thirteen-year-old Mary Wade – one of the first and youngest British convicts to be transported to Australia.

If Rotten Ralph were a boy instead of a cat, he might be Joey, the hyperactive hero of Gantos's new book, except that Joey is never bad on purpose. When the story opens, Jim has been clean for two years, but spent most of the previous decade drinking, taking meth and paying high-class prostitutes for sex. I have not read other books by Turner but i enjoy mysteries and thrillers and the rating seemed encouraging. He is known in his department, Internal Affairs, for bringing down the corrupt cops of New York City—until he is suddenly thrown under the lens of investigation when the body of his estranged wife, Caroline, is found in Washington, DC.As the second section of the novel begins, Klein shifts up a couple of gears and brings the threat into the forefront of the narrative, taking Jim completely out of his comfort zone. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been told the publication of a new bombshell biography may put an end to their bid to reconcile with the Royal Family. A small boy who overheard Hex questioning the men about his mother steps forward to say she was kidnapped by a group of Mexicans heading south. James Patterson bestsellers including Judge and Jury and Lifeguard, and the hit thrillers The Blue Zone and Reckless. Despite a lighthearted title and jacket painting, the story is simultaneously comic and horrific; Gantos takes readers right inside a human whirlwind where the ride is bumpy and often frightening, especially for Joey.

Throughout the novel, Anna Mac weaves a compelling tale of love, betrayal, and redemption with vividly drawn characters and an engaging plot. There were some very unexpected twists and some predictable story arcs but overall this is a book I loved, even if it freaked me out a bit. The arena may be a small hick town, but the battle for domination over that tiny turf is fierce, and Grandma Dowdel is a canny player for whom losing isn’t an option. For me, this final twist was one too far, and raised as many questions about the preceding narrative as it answered. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. Chapter 8 Type Omega BloodJane’s heart skipped a beat as she thought about the rare blood type she possessed.
