Vinegar - Balsamic, sherry or red wine vinegar, will all work well to bring a pleasant tang to the homemade tomato sauce.

Our favourite way to prepare this dish is in a pressure cooker. However we have given you directions for slow cooker or oven method too.

Look at the beauty of that Brussel Sprout! Oh, how I love them; such a shame they are not available all year round!
