When it comes to mascara, I look for something lengthening, curling and that doesn’t smudge throughout the day. A magnet too strong would pull too much formula onto the brush and get messy; a magnet too weak wouldn’t attract enough formula to create extreme length. Well, Benefit decided to take their cult mascara and give it a magnetic upgrade, and honestly, we’re seriously impressed!
Without the ball tip, we actually found it easier to reach those really fine hairs right at the inner corner of our eye.That’s not enough to put us off however, as the thicker brush with shorter bristles and no ball tip made it easier to apply without any fleck of product ending up on our eyelids, which ultimately won us over compared to the original brush design. I don't know what magic there is, but after every layer, I could really see my lashes fanned upwards. This magnetic core then pulls the magnetic mineral-enriched formula up and out towards the tips of the lashes and beyond which give that extreme length and power lift.
