It was a hard pass for me as I found nothing groundbreaking about it and it is not a fragrance I would gravitate to. On my carded sample it is described as black musk, I wonder what that may be, perhaps some specific musk aroma-chemical family. Its olfactory pyramid begins with a curious accord contrasting sweet and spicy aromas, such as white berries, bergamot and black pepper, creating a vibrant and effervescent sensation. This (to me) is mostly a musky floral with a sweet touch with jasmine and tuberose being the two most prominent floral notes. This is the first creation of the firm to explores Chypre, giving it a more current, energizing, and without a doubt, bewitching and seductive seal.

The fruity opening (bergamot, mulberry and cranberry) is garnished with a restrainedly peppery undertone. If the floral notes were prominent, and the sweetness, vanilla, and patchouli toned down, I would probably like this right now. Like others have said, it does smell elegant and is non-intrusive for people who want to wear something to the office and not bother anyone. I spent an hour roaming Macy's perfume counters and I couldn't find anything that stood out or appealed to me that I haven't encountered before.

This is not bad, i like it more than the original Roman Night, but i have a weird feeling about this perfume, i feel like it had something important to say, but didn‘t had the courage to finish delivering the message. this opens with a heady combo of dark, jammy fruits and white florals, which didn't interest me too much - i found it similar to an amped-up version of burberry london. I will say that I had other test on I’m thinking that one particular overshadowed the rest, I should have been able to smell it though.
