With so many characters and time hops at first, it was a little confused, but after you figure it out, the plot is fantastic. Somewhere, very close to the center—the house that was always closed, where few ever even got, owing to the odd layout of the park—a shoe had caught on the low branches of a topiary. The set menu is highly seasonal and changes frequently, often the first menu to showcase the produce with the most fleeting of seasons, or to trial new creations from the kitchen before they are added to the main menu. Hide was a fun read, it was easy and I really hope this becomes a movie because I think it would be worth watching. Without going into too much spoiler territory I did like the antagonists, I’ll say, but again they started off great and actually kind of scary but in the end it was just kind of “eh” and they felt pretty empty and one dimensional.

She has permanent shiny burns on her hands from where she scales the water heater, wedges herself between walls, and shimmies up. I would be quite interested to see what type of monster is created for the show compared to my imagination. If there had been slightly less characters and slightly more pages I think I could have been made to care a little bit more.

She excels at staying hidden and has been doing so her entire life, since the time the rest of her family were taken from her, and sees no reason why she should fail at doing so now. That is the sum that could be Mack's if she competes against thirteen other individuals on staying hidden inside an amusement park for seven full days.

Do take that with a grain of salt as the ending's enjoyability depends on how you like your books to end. Before their child was murdered, Daniel and his wife led a relatively pleasant, if not charmed, life.
