About this deal

A common complaint I see is that it’s not case files with doodles like he says it is in the beginning at all, its 6 short story told in the 1st person view and I truly believe that is because there was never any doodles, case files, or patients.

So, if you like a little bit of psychology and you don’t mind minimally disturbing content and 3-star books, then this book is for you. I would put this down to the simplicity of the language, plot and a general lack of having to think about anything to do in the story. The first patient file in this book belongs to Shawn, a vegan activist who is attending the island but immediately looks suspicious when a woman is shown to be tortured on a livestream from the island and Shawn wasn’t on the flight manifest.Review: I am going to follow the same method as my review of the first book and review the patient files individually but you also need to be aware that all the stories are connected and there is a overarching story line that you need to be able to follow. Elliot Harper is a gay man, and the book is good representation in that the book incorporates it without making a big deal out of it. Review: This is the final book in the Doctor Harper Therapy series, and I am sad because these books are dark, fast-paced, and amazing to read and I want more of them. I’m really bummed because I bought this book believing it to be true stories told from an actual therapist and I am now thoroughly disappointed to find out that I had been poorly misled.

The second patient file belongs to Don, a prisoner who is there because he intentionally infected people with HIV and Elliot tries to help him only to be attacked and injected with Don’s blood meaning he has a high chance of getting HIV unless he gets the proper medication. Let me compare it to a roller coaster again, where you get off and are standing on solid ground but you still feel like you are moving or unstable. I tried to casually comment that he seemed happier this week, and he told me that he had "figured it all out".

Not in the scenarios that the patients presented with — but with the “therapists” course of actions. When I finished the book I said the same thing I did when I first saw the add, “What did I just read? This even gets to the point of not questioning himself or his actions before committing some pretty serious crimes. I really loved how unique the story was… I haven’t read all the books in the world but I’m confident that there is nothing like this out there. At one point, he mentioned that he took on the form of God…which I found to be the most disturbing part of the entire book. From the three books i feel the hardest one to read was the second because it was impossible that SPOILER ALERT, being in prision he’ll keep being a psychologist, and everything is always against him. Each “patient file” ended up having a link of sorts as a whole, but each one was about a different patient over the course of a lengthier bit of time. I liked how even though it was nonlinear you could see how all the pieces fit together as you kept reading. I also liked how the books starts right where the last one left off, and the questions that were answered (what happened to Noah?
