About this deal

This smart thermal layer responds to the naturally changing temperatures of your feet, keeping them warm or cooling them down.

Before my feet got used to these they applied 10/10 excruciating pain to every pet of my foot, especially the outside ankle bone on my right foot. Something to mention about the style too – I think they look pretty sharp and appropriate for many scenarios! You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The second generation offers more specialised options depending on which way you shift from urban to nature exploration, but the Magna Trail is a staple that hits the sweet spot nicely and is well worth the premium for bare feet health, design and construction. The multi-directional lugs are shallow compared with traditional hiking boots, but plenty deep enough to provide great grip on rocky surfaces. Because the sole is so thin, your heel and ankle are as close to the ground as they could possibly be, short of wearing no shoes at all. Whether you're on the trails or on the streets, Magna Trail II FG is all about feeling, not following. Ideal temperature range would be between -20 to +15°C (-4-59 °F) , assuming you’re walking up a mountain or moving.

This way of attaching the shoe to the foot gives you 360-degree mobility and in addition to offering exceptional flexibility, the sock prevents debris from entering the shoe. For freezing weather, the Vivobarefoot Tracker is better suited, however, these can handle a wide spectrum of weather impressively nonetheless. So, whilst we believe the shoes are vegan, we’re not yet able to guarantee it and want to be fully transparent. This fit gives a load of freedom and flexibility through the ankles, helping them move and work as naturally as possible. These are water-resistant up to the neoprene tongue and liner which is roughly 5cm or so but unless you’re splashing in streams, it’ll handle your everyday and tougher outdoor days just fine.I wouldn’t use them in races, but I absolutely would use them for summiting some difficult, scrambly mountain peaks. Removeable liner aids in drying and enables you to adapt the liner depending on activity level and temperature. While they’ll be a bit hot for wearing indoors at the club if you move and dance a lot, they’re perfect for a night out in the winter. I’ll go over all the important details such a sizing, durability, water-proofness, and more in this complete Vivobarefoot Magna Trail review. And though there are most certainly types of hiking where I wouldn’t wear these, I love wearing them if I want to get places fast, when it’s fairly flat and dry terrain or when I’m likely to be on my feet all day, but not necessarily hiking.
