When I laced all up, that last metal was rubbing in and it really have no sense and isn’t giving you anything. It’s a pretty springy cushioning setup but it’s also extremely well contained, the stability is kept at bay due to the flat forefoot tooling and your foot sitting inside the midsole, and court feel is not sacrificed either. Nothing too spectacular has changed from the last few models – Dame’s sneakers are very comfortable.

Wear a pair of Dames to work on your game, whether that is shooting on your driveway, getting some friends to play at a park or playing a pick-up game at the local rec center. side note I swapped out the insole from the Dame 2 into the 5 and you can stay true to size if you’re planning on swapping insoles. So note to companies: keep the traction sharp, and you can still make the soles durable without sacrificing traction.

La Heem, The Dream (May 3): Designed with black and gold accents, the colorway features “La Heem” and “The Dream” along the heel and outsole.
