I probably wouldn't recommend the book to friends there are better reads out there like didi hamman and Jamie carragher. This was a brilliantly emotive book from start to finish and an interesting insight into his life, career, and dreams. So, it was great to reminisce and to pick up a few anecdotes from that period and insights into how he and other players dealt with the many ups and downs.The story of Jordan's journey from Sunderland to Liverpool, and becoming one of the most successful football leaders England has seenBorn in Sunderland, Jordan Henderson began his football career there before moving to Liverpool in 2011. Full of passion and triumph, this is a candid insight into the lifeof a footballer as you've never read before. Even the insight on Liverpool were pretty basic - there were elements of discussion about how views on his teammates but no real depth to them.
Very well written, focusing on the important parts and very respectful to the other players and managers he's worked with. The writing is often repetitive (in language and in content), and overall the book is pretty superficial, rarely going into much depth.Jordan Henderson is all of these things, and it is why he is one of the most widely respected players of his generation.
