By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Hands-on work with minotaurs isn't something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she's determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune.

Morning Glory Milking Farm is my first monster romance, and I’ve got to say, it managed to be exactly what I expected it to be, but also unexpected in how sweet the romance was. Violet knows she loves him and wants to spend the rest of her life with Rourke but it's ludicrous to admit that this quickly (months and months). The sexual encounters were solid, the characters were interesting, and the author took some risks with a unique premise. What is the world even coming to when the United States's health care is so shit that you might literally seize the bull by the horns just to have someone look at your teeth? And that work entails milking minotaurs, aka giving handjobs to minotaurs to collect their ejaculation for use in a Viagra-like pharmaceutical drug.Milking minotaurs isn’t something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she’s determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune. It’s kind of amazing how a story about a young lady who takes a job giving handjobs to minotaurs for science turns into something sweet and romantic. For instance, the milking technicians had to use their hands to perform manual stimulation, despite having a machine-assisted process if the clients took to long to finish. I thought that a bit too much of the book focused on describing the work, usually in very explicit detail, which delayed getting to the romance aspect of this monster romance.

Overall, this was a good read, not mind blowing or anything but it made up with the mild swoony aspect of it. She’d not be able to go back, that was certain, no matter how much her mother and Carson Tinsely from up the street might have wished it, so she could not fault this other woman for reinventing her life in a way that made her happy, and she clearly seemed happy in the multitude of photos. I listen to romance novels all the time even during my lunch break and I rarely ever giggle and blush but this one did it.I was shocked that they didn’t immediately jump into bed together, especially considering they’ve already rounded some of the bases through her job. To be honest, I was expecting a smutty read, but what I got, although with some very interesting, graphic, and weirdly exciting descriptions on how to milk a minotaur, was a slow-burn love story. You can say no, you can say you don’t want to see me again, you can tell me to stop coming to the farm when you’re working. It’s not the kind of book I would usually pick up – it’s definitely one which was purely as a result of multiple *multiple* Twitter recs. But the whole story was scaredy cat Violet saying it's too soon to feel this way or are we rushing into this too fast.

That is the expectation with which you will approach every shift —getting our clients in and out and on with their day, all while maintaining our quality protocols. I liked the friendships she built outside of her romance with Rourke and a I liked the way that Rourke never sought to control Violet or make any demands about her ceasing work at the farm if she didn’t want to.

The mythology has it that the minotaur semen – alarmingly copious amounts of which are produced by the clients at the farm – is the magic ingredient in the “little blue pills” for human erectile dysfunction. An unusual, but well paying, job opportunity arises and Violet can’t help but set aside her reservations and dive into this unconventional “farm”. This author seems to enjoy writing the inner processings of their character rather than the dialogue. I picked this book up because the same people who recommended I MARRIED A LIZARDMAN were touting this book and I actually liked the lizardman book. His cock slipped from her like a particularly corpulent eel, swinging loose with a gush that sent a ripple up her back, splashing to the shower floor like an overturned bucket.

In the end, I decided that for me (and this is very much a personal take so no judgement here) minotaurs were just a little too close to well… cows. There’s also some commentary about people (well, in this case, minotaurs) being commodified which added to the mix. but if he’d have suggested at that moment that he would have appreciated a blow job, she would have fallen face-first on his cock with an open mouth without a shred of hesitation. While I could have done with a bit less (okay, well, a lot less) of the milking scenes, once we finally got to the romance aspect of the story, I found myself starting to enjoy the story. She was able to feel it already dripping out of her, the obscene squelch of his erupting cock emphasizing the mess that was being made.Violet found that she couldn’t think badly of the woman in the photos, for she herself seemed completely different compared to the person she’d been only six months earlier; before she’d known about minotaur milking farms and vampire restaurants, when she’d been ignorant to the way her neighbors of different species lived and had been blind to her human privilege. Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parent’s basement. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren't so one-sided after all.
