Still not too big as a daypack in daily life, but large enough to serve for a overnighter in usual British 3 seasons weather conditions. Further the backpack has attachment points where you can secure things like walking sticks, ice picks or a tripod.There is one small zip pouch pocket at the top for your essentials like keys, cash and passport, but no further pockets to worry about…doesn’t that make a nice change! The true size, incidentally, is 52cm height 30cm width and 18cm depth, most airlines quote 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, so it falls well within the requirements. At the same time this backpack is quite affordable, especially if you compare it to travel bags from established niche manufacturers. I am unsure if that can be done with a 30 litres rucksack too if you don't spend a horrible amount of money into pretty weak equipment.
