About this deal

The white loaves have a puffy crust and the texture is a little cake-like and open with a slightly salty taste. In any case we have tried both and neither so far has been much good: in both the bread does not rise adequately; in one the loaf is almost burnt, and in the other it isn't cooked enough.

I got confused once and did the recipe for the other breadmaker so had to guess at the length of time needed to cook it. The one I’ve just bought is a replacement for the same make and model which broke its hub and drive coupling assembly. Take advantage of the 15-hour delay timer or, if you're short of time, the 85-minute ECO bake programme is one of the fastest around, saving you time and money. Unlike its little brother, the Kenwood BM250 has a delay timer which allows you to delay the bread making process by up to 15 hours. Introductions are limited to motor finance, CarMoney Limited will pay us a fixed commission per paid out deal.I'm sure that there's nothing wrong with my recipe - it's kenwood this time - and it cannot produce airy kind of breads - just dense dense dense.

com Limited is an Appointed Representative of Compare The Market Limited who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The basic white loaf from this model has a smooth, domed crust and even colour on both top and sides but has a slightly salty taste. Please check the type and record the date code, which can be found on the rating plate, located on the underside of the product. My fist loaf was soggy and tasted under baked, so I reserve praise for a later date when I have experimenting a bit. The basic white and rapid white loaves are slightly salty tasting with a puffy crust which collapsed inwards on the second test for basic white bread. If you have an affected unit, please stop using your blender and contact us for more information and to get a free replacement part.

We have benn using the Kenwood Bread Machine for a few weeks now and found that it produces a perfect loaf every time. And the machine and controls were great, although it was a bit loud when the kneading blade was whirring around. It's just a shame that the design of very simple mechanical components has been botched, specially when compared to our Kenwood Chef which has been used without any problems for around 25 years ! Flour types are different in every country so make sure u know what kind of flour is used in the recipe, and then calculate it in volume (desilitres) and then calculate the weight how it corresponds to the flour available in your country. The water will leak out from the breadpan and could anyone please let me know what is the problem and how to fix it? Having used another brand of bread maker, and then gave up due to density of the loaf, I came across this one.

Even though I had looked at other places for bread makers, when I saw this one at Lakeland - I had confidence. Seem like a design fault to me, the bread pan is very flimsy and I guess it gets knocked out of shape during kneading. Since then, we tried different breads and different "custom" combinations of ingredients and almost every night we put the bread up for the morning with the timer and it is ready and hot in the morning. Cut into squares and serve as an appetiser or side dish, or use as a sandwich bread and fill with prosciutto and rocket or cheese. It has an “eco” program that uses less energy and time – it bakes a white loaf or bread mix in 85 minutes – and it comes with a glossy book containing a wealth of foodie recipes.Wait till the yeast has bubbles on the surface of the water, only then you put into the breadmaker with the rest of the recipe.
