The lightest shades in both palettes are really difficult to see on camera, they blend perfectly in to my (extremely) pale skin, but they are more pigmented than they appear. There are seven brand new hues (including shimmering ‘Rose Pink’ and champagne golden ‘Glistening') along with seven classics that will be familiar favourites to any Anastasia aficionado. Use the warm matte neutral eyeshadows for contouring and defining, and the warm and cool metallic eyeshadows as accent shades.

One of the shimmers (the red shade) and the yellow-toned matte have dried out a bit and don't perform the best, but the rest of this palette is immaculate.

I have swatched the shadows from the palettes below, so you can see the pigmentation of each eyeshadow. I love the Anastasia eyeshadow formula, and along with these two palettes, I own many of their singles. Whether it’s girls night or I just want to put a little something on to look more alive - this is my go-to palette! My main gripes are the glittery shadows get EVERYWHERE if I use a brush (no problem if I use my fingertip to apply, though) and the fallout from some of the colors is awful. I travel a lot with this palette because it's versatile and I can use it for natural daytime looks or when I'm going full glam for the evening. It is really unfortunate that they designed the packaging of such a beautiful pallet with 0 practicality :/ I have been keeping the palette in the box for now which is annoying. This eye makeup collection features a highly pigmented, easy-to-blend formula, allowing you to create seamless neutral eyeshadow looks for both day and evening wear.I do find the felt gets grubby very easily on both of these light-colours palettes, which is annoying. As someone who tends to lean towards neutral shades, I love this palette as an intro to broadening my preferred shade ranges.

It is primarily a matte palette with three true shimmers and two that have a slight sheen (so are debatable).Combining six fan-favorite shades from the original Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette plus two shades from the cult-classic Norvina Eye Shadow Palette, Soft Glam II Mini Eye Shadow Palette has the fully pigmented, blendable formula you’ve come to love in shades that can create endless looks from natural to night out. Where I thought this palette would have a bunch of shades that I might not like, I ended up liking every single one. Three of the shades (Tempera, Burnt Orange and Cyprus Umber) are repeated from the Modern Renaissance, which I know disappointed some people.
