Realistic Pedal Feel - The spring and damping block combination provides higher braking resistance and gives a more progressive and realistic pedal feel. The one saving grace is that you can completely change the linearity curve of each pedal using Moza’s Pit House software. The construction made of aluminum and leather enables long-lasting driving pleasure and upgrades your setup immensely. This is also hinted at with the buttons on the steering wheel which utilise the classic Xbox configuration of A, B, X and Y.

The R5 table clamp is constructed with 5mm thick steel and features two highly adjustable brackets to help you lock your wheel firmly in position for a reliable and remarkable racing experience.Steering is managed through an ultra-high resolution 15-bit motor encoder, providing you with incredibly accurate steering and an unlimited steering angle. And despite the pedal face plates being constructed from thinner metal, I possibly prefer the styling of these compared to the brushed pedal plates on the SR-P set. Also 13 inches in diameter, the RS V2 sports a forged carbon/aluminum structure, with forged carbon shifters and leather grips. It’s no secret that MOZA is taking the fight to Fanatec here, as the R5 bundle ticks very much the same box as the Gran Turismo DD Pro. That’s just to make sure that absolutely everything I say is my own opinion, for better or for worse, that’s a risk that I take.

This hasn’t been confirmed yet, but I have a sneaky suspicion that this may well be announced at a later date. That aside though, the mount is super solid and incorporates an angle which is not adjustable but should suit most desk mounted installations.

During the warranty period, France Simulateur will not, in principle, provide any spare parts, as the support is the only one authorized to open and/or recondition any Moza Racing product. And it has been all positive from them but during my review I got to experience the hardware fully and have drawn some interesting conclusions. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

Moza Racing is slowly establishing itself as a major player in SimRacing with high quality and very durable products.

There’s almost not as much else to say when it comes to the overall feeling, as the R5 does pretty much what it says on the tin, which is a good thing.
