Convincing pleasures here are the persistence of citruses in an acidic mix with savory herbs as they give way to the drier, almost dusty textures of spices and patchouli, and a smooth trail that conjures leathery tobacco as an idea more than as a real olfactory simulation. Unfortunately this performance has been lost over the years, I recently bought a bottle from batch A41 and longevity is 4 hours at best. However, I still wear it on business trips because I like it and she's not around to hold her nose and make that face.

Tuscany has long been one of the harder to find scents in the Aramis Gentlemen’s Collection, and though it’s a far cry from the cheapie New West and Devin, I think it’s worth a spot in your collection. At least for now (late 2013) you can get a 7 ml sample set of all six on-line (enough to get to know each scent well, with multiple applications). Tuscany has discreet but decent performance by contemporary standards, and solid enough construction to dial back to a light wearing if you don't want to come on too strong.

Don't waste your money, these great old perfumes like Aramis or Azzaro pour homme, are not even shadow of what they should be. I love the bitterness of the lemon in the opening and it's truly a powerful citrus with a zesty lime to it as well!After about a minute the mid starts to slowly works it's way in, leaving you a citrusy, spicy, herbaceous aura of manly goodness.
