About this deal

But even a superwoman can run out of stamina and she's found, near death, by a group of rebels who aren't supposed to exist.

Perfection is an action packed and adrenaline filled ride from beginning to end, with a touch of romance. In the chapter, “Accept yourself”, Curran offers some practical and realistic advice for those struggling with perfectionism. Today, burnout and depression are at record levels, driven by a combination of intense workplace competition, the comparative world of social media, the quest for elite credentials, and helicopter parenting. When Ellyssa learns of the plan for complete genocide of the human race, to be replaced by perfect clones, she runs away from the Center, located in Chicago, and heads for Kansas City based on the mental cry of a prisoner. Gyms today are a familiar part of the life of millions of people across the globe, and a regular aspect of a fitness and leisure oriented culture. We sincerely believe the gospel and love Jesus but struggle with never feeling good enough before God. I believe this is going to be a more prominent part of the story inthe sequel, and maybe we'll find out more about Woody, which will make him different from Rein, and maybe then I can pick a team. One of the most interesting parts about this book is that it is written in third person with an omniscient voice.

It can be argued that a person’s failings and self-criticisms engage sympathy only up to a point, after which we are more likely to feel annoyance and frustration. She explores the Bible to show that as God deals with us as in-process people, he is far more merciful, righteous and patient than we may have imagined. This is a must-read for anyone who likes their YA with an edge; we're delighted to have it at Spencer Hill! Confused and afraid her secret will be discovered, Ellyssa runs away, embarking on a journey where she discovers there is more to her than perfection.

Outsiders, blundering in, feel conspicuous (and everyone is an outsider who hasn’t lived there all their lives). I really liked how things ended and how it was left open, without a cliff hanger, for future installments to a series. Sarasota Police Detectives Sophia Tregaskis and Jim Fallon race against time to stop an obsessed serial killer who is targeting seriously obese women and killing them in a ritualistic manner.

Genuine and intuitive, he's a great guy that I was seriously worried about as the story came together.

The main plot is that the guy in charge of the Center wants to wipe out all humanity and replace them with clones, and he even wants to replace the prototypes (the current "children") that the clones will be based off of. In times where characters are really suffering it is describes so vividly and accurately that it is so realistic to the reader.

I feel like the character development was good, I liked the pace and I also liked that while there could be other books to make a series it isn't completely necessary.

Before establishing a permanent home in Australia, she spent seven years working and studying in France, England, and the United States. The Temple of Perfection is an illuminating study that provides insights into historical practices of physical culture and further evidence of the ideological impact of sport and leisure. Filled with “many useful lessons and valuable insights…This book offers an alternative path to a fulfilling, productive life” ( Kirkus Reviews) and the relief of letting go to focus on what matters most. The new Playful Perfection project book has been written by me in association with PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™. The main premise of the book is to underscore the role that modern culture plays in rising levels of perfectionism.
