When you press the home button to bring up the menu, it doesn’t close or pause the content that was playing before you pressed home, so if you watch a video on youtube then press home when it’s done, it’ll autoplay the next video/ads and until you press back and pause the content it’ll keep playing as if you were still watching. does reach the claimed 90% coverage with the saturation tracking also doing a decent job of aiming for accuracy with WCG content.
Past editions of Android TV were generally ad-free, but like other smart platforms, we're seeing more ads throughout the interface with Google TV. Sure, you’ll be able to watch whatever content you’d like on a Hisense TV without issue, and connecting a PS5 is doable, too, but if you’re looking for more out of your TV, you’d likely be better served by spending a little more on a different set. Ultimately, this is the best cheap TV on the market, and it's almost as good as the more expensive U6K. In dim viewing conditions, the black levels were satisfactory but with some noticeable lighter edges to the panel and even if slightly off-axis these black started to look milky and navy, losing the deep black look.nits isn’t incredibly high, of course, compared to the 1,000-2,000 nits of some new Samsung TVs, but the U7QF knows what to do with what it’s given. Of course, but you’re looking at a grand or more to get something substantially better, and at least VIDAA U OS doesn’t have ads baked into it and an insane amount of data collection. The latter, VIDAA Art, seems like a rehash or Samsung’s Art Mode – a service on Samsung’s designer TVs that lets you display classic artworks and paintings on your screen when the TV isn’t in use.
With all that said and understood, the Hisense is a good LED LCD TV for a second room or kitchen and has some decent gaming features and input lag for those who want a bedroom panel for that use and some normal TV viewing. If you're looking for the cheapest Hisense TV on the market, you're in luck as they have a fantastic cheap model, the Hisense A6/A65K. It doesn't support HDR10+ like the more expensive models, but it does have Dolby Vision, which is more widespread.The easy-to-understand and fast-to-navigate VIDAA OS platform takes your TV experience to the next level. It's bright enough in HDR for a pleasant viewing experience, and just like the Hisense U8/U8K and Hisense U7K, it supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision HDR, although it doesn't support advanced DTS audio formats like those models do. In spite of paying attention and showing great sensitivity when providing the information, we can not guarantee 100% accuracy.
It would have been nice to see Hisense supporting the Filmmaker Mode movement that most other manufacturers have supported for the last 24 months and we would encourage them to consider this for future models.They don't use viewing angle technology like Samsung, so the image looks inconsistent from the side. These TVs upgrade Hisense’s other lines’ traditional LED panels to Quantum ULED panels as well as supporting the full suite of HDR functionality, in addition to bringing full-array local dimming to the table. So at this point you are probably wondering why the hell I bought this if it’s got all those problems.
It’s even got ROKU style quick launch buttons on the bottom of the remote, but it’s not quite polished. Motion was also reasonably good with 24fps material looking decent for the most part, with only occasional judder noticeable with Ultra Smooth Motion switched off.Sudden camera movements, or even just cuts to a new scene can cause the frame rate to drop, disrupting the picture with artefacts that can’t keep up with the camerawork. Along with Sony, Hisense has been using Android TV for a few years and eventually transitioned their TVs to Google TV in 2022.
