About this deal

Slam firing should not be attempted on a blaster that is not intended to do it, as attempting to do so may damage or break the blaster's internals or priming mechanism.

As a motorized flywheel blaster, the Hail-Fire is a candidate for voltage modification [14] and motor replacement. Alpha Trooper CS-18 • Deploy CS-6 • Longshot CS-6 • LongStrike CS-6 • Raider Rapid Fire CS-35 • Rayven CS-18 • Recon CS-6 • Stampede ECS Partially due to this being a motorized unit, the velocity on the Pro Series MK-3 was more than quadruple the second-place contender. That massive velocity number naturally translates into greater distance on the course. We saw about a 30% increase in distance between this unit and the runner-up. The accuracy and consistency was just as impressive. With a score of 2.5 (lower is better), the half-size darts on the MK-3 are impressively consistent. The second place score was 3.4, with last place being 8.6. An included detachable tripod accessory allows the blaster to also be used stationary on a flat surface, similar to that of a turret. The Vulcan is also compatible with the Rhino-Fire tripod, in lieu of its own. It has three tactical rails, two on the sides of the blaster and a third on top. How many batteries does a Nerf Vulcan ebf-25 need? The Nerf N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire is a heavy action blaster that was built with advanced action in mind. The gun comes with an exceptional capacity of holding 144 elite darts. If your competitors show up with inferior guns, you are almost certain of enjoying a higher level of advantage, especially with regard to impact and the duration of action. The massive dart capacity allows you to concentrate on the crucial actions of stealth and action instead on the technicalities of loading and reloading.N-Strike Elite running change "economy" variant (same plastic colors as the standard version, but sporting considerably fewer paint operations) A downside to using slam fire is the inability to deprime a blaster, as the firing trigger is disconnected from the catch if the slam trigger is not actuated to the catch. While this may be less of a problem with un modified blasters, those that have been modified with stronger springs or removed air restrictors can be damaged this way, if the blaster is dry fired without a dart loaded. The semi-auto blasting effect of this gun gives it a great advantage, particularly in situations that require intense and sustained action. Compared to ordinary toy guns, this machine is less susceptible to jamming and remains stable and reliable during prolonged shooting. The N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire weighs 3.8 pounds, which is about the right weight for a gun with such payload. The manufacturers intended this semi-auto blaster to indulge the fun of gun enthusiasts from the age of eight upwards. Important Features

The Hail-Fire is the third Nerf blaster to have a special release on September 9th, alongside the Stampede ECS in 2010 and the Raider CS-35 in 2009. To be fair, this gun did cost a bit more, and has the phrase "Pro-Series" in its title. However, we've all been fooled by similar monikers before, so I thought it deserved to be put to the test. It does have an optional full-auto firing mode and comes with both full- and half-size sport darts. The Hail-Fire is advertised as the "highest capacity Nerf blaster ever", claiming a maximum capacity of 144 darts. This, however, requires separate accessories and additional darts than what is included, as the Hail-Fire only includes twenty-four darts and four six dart clips. The Scravenger features an alternative slam fire mechanism that features a physical switch, rather than through holding the trigger and continually priming. This may have been done to make slam firing easier on a lever-action blaster. For a list of blasters that can slam fire, see Category:Slam fire blasters. Technical slam fire blasters [ ] If you’re looking to take your NERF hunt to entirely new levels, the NERF N-Strike Elite Hail Fire is the place to go. It features: The power and range of this blaster are greatly enhanced by the strength of its spinning motor. The shooting mechanism is enabled by the unique capacity of the motor, which achieves an incredible rotational speed that surpasses ordinary expectations. The stability of the motor ensures an element of consistency in the shooting action such that every dart is fired with the same level of accuracy and power as the preceding and succeeding one. Such consistency helps to enhance performance, especially if the shooting sport is competitive. Pros

Using a full set of ten dart clips will give a maximum capacity of eighty darts. A full set of eight twelve dart clips will give a maximum of ninety-six darts. The 144 capacity claim, however, is matched when a full set of eighteen dart clips is used. The power and capacity of the Nerf N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire blaster largely depends on its unique rotating ammo. This feature stands out because of its flawless functional quality and user-friendly appeal. In fact, this single feature alone contributes a lot to the overall advantage of capacity for which this blaster is highly regarded. If you are handling this blaster for the first time, you will notice that its various parts work collectively with impressive technical harmony that makes it truly exceptional. The two semicircular pieces that cover the clip carousel can be removed after assembly, with some force. Without the large cover pieces, clips do not have to be removed to load darts. This also allows the carousel to be rotated easily by hand.

All Hail The Hail-Fire.

The Nerf Hail-Fire is the flagship N-Strike Elite blaster. Or at least it was. It was the crown jewel of the Elite blaster lineup. It stood for everything the Elite blasters were meant to represent: New risky designs, large over the top ammo capacity, and increased firepower and range. It accomplished this mostly. It is still the highest capacity Nerf blaster out there today. It still keeps up with the established 75 foot range of other Elite blasters. But its weird, bulky, awkward design just is not for me. It’s hard to reload on the fly, it’s not very easily maneuverable. It’s meant to be more of a heavy fire, suppressive fire type of thing. That was never my style, though. The Nerf Hail-Fire.
