About this deal

Gailcat Roomy & comfortable. Very pleased with these thermal leggings. Soft and comfortable. I went for size 16 and they are very generous - I can't stand anything tight and these are ideal. WHEN the colder months roll around and the weather really drops, sometimes outer layers aren’t quite enough to keep the freeze at bay. PaulyH70 Extra insulation These are good quality long johns. Nice material, strong elastic that keep them up unlike with cheaper versions I added an extra jumper layer, but I caved in by 2.30pm and put the heating on for an hour to warm things up a bit. Available in six colours, you’ll easily find one to match just about any outfit. It also comes in a fantastic range of sizes, making this thermal suitable for just about anyone who needs an extra layer of warmth this winter.

Hopelessoptimist More than a thermal top As someone who really struggles to wear jumpers, I was looking for something that I could wear during the day that’d keep me warm when I’m sat working at home. Love this top. Not bulky but has substance to it. Definitely keeps me warm. Smart enough to wear as a t-shirt with jeans - not just a layer. Usually indecisive Warm and comfortable So comfortable and warm! Very tight fitting so I went up a size and it’s still snug. Looks like a nice normal top, not just underwear. I headed to the big Primark on Market Street in Manchester next to find their thermal offering. You can find the thermal section for ladies next to the underwear on the first floor. And a fourth said: “Bought for my husband who was reluctant to wear a vest, he is delighted with them in grey and mulberry. They add extra heat without bulk, good fit not too tight.” There are two main considerations when shopping for thermal underwear. It’s important that this innermost layer fits like a second skin and that it’s made from materials that won’t irritate. This may sound daunting, but it’s easy to find thermal underwear that meets both your needs and your budget. Below we explore the key considerations when purchasing good-quality thermal underwear, while also listing the best thermal underwear available to buy now. These were like a normal comfy legging, but with a soft brushed inside which kept me super warm and cosy throughout the day and I felt that I benefitted from going a size up than what I would normally wear in these to make them a less tighter fit and more useful for everyday lounging. He says they are brill bought him the long sleeved top so he nice and warm great buy would defo buy again I opted for the thermal-branded long-sleeved t-shirt and leggings, as both said they were made with "with heat-retaining technology" and a "thermal knit". This made me think they'd be quite sturdy items. Lyrah Great base layer Love this thermal leggings! I used this as a base layer under my joggers on our holiday in Iceland (November) and it was just what I needed. Enough to keep me warm day or night. The natural performance fabric is well known for its softness and breathability, but it’s also great at regulating your body temperature, keeping you warm when it’s cold, and cooling you down when it’s too toasty.

Charleee Would recommend! Nice, soft fabric. Looks like a lovely t-shirt and not at all like a thermal vest! Fit is also crucial when it comes to thermals. Given they are essentially an under layer, you’ll want them to fit fairly close to your body, so they don’t impact the clothes you wear over them. A chunky thermal top layer that’s too baggy won’t fit very well underneath a long sleeve tee, for example. The leggings were in a more traditional "thermal long john" style with a ribbed effect along them. At first I thought the leggings would not be warm enough to wear without a layer on top, but they actually really surprised me as they did seem to retain a lot of heat as I pottered about in the house in them. westendgirl507 Heatgen (trade mark) Thermals for women I have had no great misgivings about thermal undergarments previously bought at M& S but Heatgen is revolutionary in the best sense. Light as a feather and breathable. Perfectly designed as the essential first line of defence under Autumn/ Winter clothing. Well done to M &:S for ensuring (last time I looked online) that all sizes remain available. The lining is so soft, the sleeves are nice and long...even for my long arms and the overall length is great. Ok its not the cheapest but this is what M & S used to do best, more expensive but reassuringly good quality...you get what you pay for. If only they followed that formula with everything.Lainey3056 Fantastic and cosy for the winter. Omg! What a difference these leggings make! They are incredibly cosy and fit perfectly. I am 5,7 and they fit perfectly on my waist and do not fall down. I will definitely buy another pair for sure. A slim fit means they’ll sit as comfortably under a school uniform as they will under a snowsuit for outdoor play. There are options to fit almost any age, from toddler to teenager. There are no colour options to choose from, but this isn’t a biggie when they do their job so perfectly. Shazza2020 Amazing I have bought a number of these thermal tops and they have been great. I get really cold and they keep me warm. It was so snazzy you could actually wear this as a going out top - and was a refreshing change from the old stereotypes of thermals as holy cream vests and long johns.
