I got the idea when I was helping my niece and nephews write their letters to Father Christmas and I wondered (with a shiver) what would happen if one of the letters got waylaid? Hopefully there would be some kind of person (or in this case a mouse) to deliver it for us. And what adventures would they have?

I like that because of Winston being at home he realise what happened and how he end up in England. Once he explains his sibling tell him that his mum has gone to look for him after receiving a letter from Oliver. Wie bereits Band 1 ist auch dieses Buch gut durchdacht und hochwertig gestaltet.Neben Mut und Freundschaft werden kindgerecht Hilfsbereitschaft und die Sehnsucht nach Familie und Zugehörigkeit thematisiert. I think what’s so lovely about writing for children at Christmas time is being allowed to share in their wide-eyed magic. For most children the season fizzes with excitement so being able to share in and create an adventure for them to enjoy during that fizzy time of year is a real honour. Anything is possible in books, and I think that is heightened in a book that is written to be enjoyed at Christmas time."

Ideal for kids that love crafts, this is also a lovely Christmas story that mid-primary school aged children will really enjoy as it unfolds in the run-up to the big day. I like how Winston is finding more friends on his journey like Ingrid and her friend Hila the owl. I like that Hila has explained that Winston could be from Sweden or Norway and offered to take him there. When Winston is on his way to Sweden he meets some red squirrels who said he should talk to Benny the elk who might know about his song. Then Benny suggest to meet Anni Frid the beaver but however she didn't know the song. Ein Buch fürs Herz, wie ein süßer Kakao, für Jung und Alt ein Lesevergnügen. Einzutauchen in dieses tolle Abenteuer, war echt schön, es ist momentan eins, der Lieblingsbücher. Maximilian ist mutig und macht auch anderen Mut. Er und seinen Freund erleben ein tolles Abenteuer und wir sind mitten dabei. Verständliche Texte, wunderschöne Bilder lassen uns in die Welt eintauchen. Wir Rätseln mit und es zeigt wieder mal wie wichtig, es ist auch mal Hilfe von Freunden anzunehmen und Freundschaften an sich.Winston is an incredibly resourceful mouse who travels fearlessly around Europe.
