About this deal

The answer is…it entirely depends on your motivation for playing the game. Any Marvel fans out there will certainly enjoy Avengers Monopoly; it draws different aspects of the Marvel universe together in an immersive game that allows you to become your favorite heroes. Includes gameboard, 12 tokens, 24 Hero cards, 16 Infinity Gauntlet cards, 16 Stark Industries cards, In all versions of Monopoly, the aim of the game is to remain solvent (whether this is in money or power) while other players go bankrupt and to collect as many locations (or in some cases, heroes) on the board as possible. You can buy, sell, or swap heroes with other players at any time. You must sell all buildings in a color set to the Bank before you can sell or trade a hero. You cannot sell or trade buildings to another player. In one version of the game, you must rescue the universe from forces of evil by collecting power as you pass go and using it to save locations; in the other version, rather than buying or saving locations, you assemble an impressive team to save the universe by drafting heroes.

If you’re a fan of Monopoly, but the Avengers edition just isn’t for you, here are a couple of other versions you could try. Game of Thrones Monopoly The four Children of Thanos are Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and Ebony Maw. When you land on a Child of Thanos, you must engage them in battle! Roll one die once for your token character, plus once for each hero card you have. Avengers Monopoly is recommended for children of eight years and above. There must be at least two players for the game to work, but there can be up to six. As mentioned earlier, the aim of the game is to save as many locations as you can within the Marvel Universe. Once all the villains are defeated, the player with the most power wins!Just like in the original Monopoly, every time you pass go, you collect 200 in power. At this point, you can also reactivate your superpower if you use it. Game of Thrones lends itself perfectly to a game of Monopoly. Choose which token you’d like to play as (The Iron Throne, Crown, Direwolf, Three-Eyed Raven, Dragon Egg, or White Walker) and battle against your opponents to win control of Westeros and sit on the Iron Throne.

Use the included Hero die to team up with your fellow Super Heroes and defeat powerful villains. The colorful, round gameboard, Avengers character tokens, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Villains cards, and Hero die add a different dimension to the classic Monopoly game. Likewise, the community chest and chance cards are S.H.I.E.L.D and villains cards in this edition of the game. The board, rather than being square, is shaped like the Avengers logo, but it still has the locations around the outside like the traditional game.Sell Headquarters to the Bank for half the cost price, and exchange them immediately for 4 Bases. Sell Bases to the Bank for half the cost price. Bases must be sold evenly across the color set. Sidelining (Mortgaging) Heroes Hand out the correct pieces. Each player needs one Avengers token (placed on Go), the matching superpower card; twelve location markers (matching the chosen token); and 1,500 in power.

Hero-saved spaces –If you land on a space that has already been saved, you have to give the player who saved it a power-up if they shout “power-up” before the next player begins their turn. You can use up to 3 turns to try for doubles. If you don't roll doubles by your third turn In Jail, pay 50, and use your last roll to move. If you’re interested in finding more family-friendly games, we have a guide that can help you. This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. Since both editions of Avengers Monopoly referenced at the beginning of this guide follow the same basic principles and structure, I am going to focus on the first version in which players collect power to save locations on the board from villains. What’s Different?

Pay the Headquarters cost on the hero card, return all 4 Bases to the Bank, and put a Headquarters on the hero's space.

Action Spaces

Roll doubles on your next turn. If you do, you're free! Use the roll to move, and that's the end of your turn. The best thing about Monopoly is undoubtedly that it can be played by the whole family, so the game is still appealing and fun whether you’re six years old or sixty years old.
