Ultimate Spriggan Over (2 Stars) Zone’+Z-9 vs. Prominence (Heavy) Belial 2 Over (1 Star) High Xtend+’-0 In this review we’ll be focusing on evaluating how good the Prominence Blade and Phoenix DB Core are in terms of stamina, defense, and burst resistance. Takara Tomy's Valkyrie 1 (or simply Valkyrie) is a right-spin DB Core that features an armored face with a stylized V adorning the helmet, akin to its predecessors in the Valkyrie line. This design represents the DB Core's namesake, valkyries, Odin's handmaidens in Norse mythology. Valkyrie 1 is the first of two Valkyrie DB Cores, and has above average Burst Resistance. However, it should also be noted that using the Valkyrie 2 DB Core with high burst resistance Drivers will exacerbate wear issues. Less than 30 rounds of testing were conducted while producing the above results for Valkyrie 2 and we already began to observe the beginnings of teeth wearing at the inner edges. The reason for the asymmetrical design of Valkyrie 2 is due to Takara-Tomy’s obvious desire to integrate it seamlessly with the design features of the Ultimate Blade. As a result, while it is not the first DB Core with an asymmetrical design in the central area, it is the first one with asymmetry built-in to its peripheral design. Continuing the trend of re-released highly competitive parts in this single box is the 0 Armor. This Armor has been a staple since B-188, just like the Over Disc. It has a great weight, great weight distribution, and bolsters Stamina combos’ ability to stay stable for longer. Weighing in at over 14.6 grams, the Prominence Blade is the second heaviest Blade released in Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle behind the left-spin Guilty Blade. This makes it the heaviest right-spin Blade currently available. The results do look very similar in each instance, but I will say that the final set with Xtreme’ and the two-thirds awakened Savior were the set that it felt like Savior had the best chance of victory. It also had the most KOs; in the first set of results Savior had three wins, but one was by OS.

In this case though, Valkyrie 2 demonstrated that Belial continues to slowly be outclassed with a convincing 80% win rate. The 9 Armor continues the trend of a slightly unbalanced design seen in the Valkyrie 2 DB Core by featuring two different designs on the top of its tabs which show through on the top of the Blade when assembled with a DB Core. A first for any Armor to date.
It is possible that with a 2 Star Legacy Disk some of this is mitigated, but considering the Karma Disk is already a definitive fourth choice, Legacy Disk takes the throne of least likely to be used. This is a textbook example of how it often is not about how heavy a part is, but where that weight is distributed that contributes to how much stamina a part has. Perfect Phoenix Layer with Level Chip Many more draws were had since Savior Blade is more prone to Bursting, but with Belial 2 in mind for it, Savior Blade may clinch out some extra wins that Ultimate Blade may not even with Belial 2 DB Core. As the name “Valkyrie 2” suggests, it is the second “Valkyrie” DB Core. The Valkyrie DB Core from Savior Valkyrie featured: The Valkyrie DB Core was first released in B-187 Savior Valkyrie Shot-7, and since then has found itself to be a staple in Stamina combos being able to compete closely with even the Belial 2 DB Core in this department.Considering these results, from a purely stamina-based perspective, the Valkyrie 2 DB Core is at best a third-string right-spin DB Core below the Valkyrie and Belial 2 DB Cores, which retain their crown as the top pieces for this purpose. It is plagued by the power creep felt throughout Beyblade Burst part design and launcher strength since the original version was first released in 2017. Already, despite my botched testing setup, the fact that I was able to record all of the data about the different Disks and Armors used for each one begins to help illustrate–perhaps more adequately than the proper set would have–that this matchup is volatile.
In addition to its Defense properties, Atomic' features high Stamina and Spin-Equalization potential.
