About this deal

TMF/A-802 BuCUE | ZGMF-1017 Hinstn's GINN | ZGMF-1017 GINN Fuego | ZGMF-1017 GINN Tempester | ZGMF-1017 Un'no's GINN Mounted in the head, the pair of CIWS guns are close-range weapons for intercepting incoming missiles and enemy units. However, because the Strike Freedom MR-G was built in a hurry in Shimoda's spare time, its finishing was not properly done which leads to it not living up to its full potential performance in combat. Dropped by the boss of Irregular Mission (Hard mode enabled): The Son Who Rules the Heavens (Directory 6) A mobile suit tuned to meet Kira Yamato's need, Strike Freedom has Variable Phase Shift Armor and like its predecessor, Freedom, is primarily armed with powerful ranged weapons. It armaments includes head-mounted CIWS, a torso-mounted multi-phase beam cannon, hip-mounted railguns, combine-able beam sabers and beam rifles, DRAGOON pods controlled by the new Super DRAGOON system and beam shields. It is also equipped with "Voiture Lumière" propulsion system named Wings of the Skies, Neutron Jammer Canceller and powered by the new Hyper-Deuterion Nuclear Reactor.

Like the other new Gundams, the Strike Freedom is powered by a hyper-deuterion engine, a hybrid of the nuclear reactor with the Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System. This meant that the suit is nuclear powered and has sufficient power to use the METEOR unit. Over time, several mobile weapons were equipped with this system, with most of them being prototype units. It is unknown if the GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam's detachable arms are controlled using this new technology. It is also unknown if the DRAGOONs equipped on the MBF-P03D Gundam Astray Blue Frame D‎‎ are controlled using the second or first generation system. During the Battle of Mendel, the Freedom and Justice once again fought the Calamity, Forbidden and Raider. [9] After the three machines temporarily retreated to their mothership, Kira flew the Freedom into the Mendel colony, where he rescued his comrade Mu La Flaga by swiftly disabling Rau Le Creuset's ZGMF-600 GuAIZ. [10] At the battle's climax, the Freedom attempted to retrieve a Life Pod containing Flay Allster, who had in her possession data on ZAFT's Neutron Jammer Canceller. However, the Freedom was damaged by the Raider when Kira became distracted, and the life pod was recovered by the Calamity. [11]

Help

The suit's main close combat weapon, a pair of them are mounted on the hips. They are also used by ∞ Justice, and are enhanced version of the ones used by Justice and Freedom. The two beam sabers can also be combined together to form a dual-beam saber/beam javelin. The Providence ZAKU was a testbed unit created by ZAFT during the Second Alliance-PLANT War to test the DRAGOON pods that would be deployed on the Legend. The DRAGOON system used here is an improved version of the Chaos Gundam's, the smaller pods can be used as ramming weapon due to their sharp edges while the larger pods are identical to those later used on Legend.

The DRAGOON system is powerful enough that a mobile suit equipped with this system, in combination with a skilled pilot, can match or overwhelm the firepower of an entire team of conventional CE mobile suits, but with more coordination than a group of individual CE pilots. This is best shown in the final battle between Rau Le Creuset and Kira Yamato, during which the ZGMF-X13A Providence severely damaged the ZGMF-X10A Freedom with the system. Two years later, Kira himself would display the strength of the system when he disables 25 ZAFT mobile suits in under 2 minutes. The designer of this Gunpla, who models under the pseudonym Shimoda Heavy Industries, won 1st Place in the Gunpla Builders World Cup 2017 Japanese division with a build of the RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium". A custom Gunpla that combines several elements of the two main Cosmic Era powerhouses, GAT-X105+AQM/E-YM1 Perfect Strike Gundam with the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam, merged together into a single Gunpla. Its Multiple Assault Striker allows the Perfect Strike Freedom to equip the Aile Striker high mobility unit, the Sword Striker close combat unit and the Launcher Striker artillery unit while integrating their features. While new armaments have been installed throughout its body, this Gunpla has been meticulously designed to have a balanced structure to compensate for the increase in weight. Resulting in an extremely powerful Gunpla, capable of annihilating every enemy in its path.

The direct successor of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, the Strike Freedom was originally developed by ZAFT as a prototype machine for eventual mass-production. [1] The development itself, which had started in the same time period as its predecessor, was behind schedule and could not be completed in time due to technical limitations in developing the DRAGOON System. Furthermore, its development was influenced by the Junius Treaty and data regarding the unit's existing development was to be sealed. However, the incomplete unit, or perhaps the design data, was stolen by the Clyne Faction, or some said its Terminal ally, who also deleted the data from the servers of ZAFT's Integrated Design Bureau. [1] [2] [4] [5] Redevelopment of the Strike Freedom was then carried out by Terminal/Clyne Faction, based on the operational data of the Freedom and incorporated the latest MS technology from ZAFT's Second Stage Series units. [5] In fact, Strike Freedom was redesigned and modified on the basis that it would become Kira's personal MS. On May 8, C.E. 71, the Freedom Gundam was stolen by Kira Yamato, with the help of Lacus Clyne. [2] Kira rushed to Earth with the stolen suit and came to the rescue of the Archangel during the Battle of JOSH-A. [3] Along with the Archangel, Kira defected to the neutral Orb Union [4] and used the Freedom to defend the country against the Earth Alliance during the Battle of Orb. During the battle, he reunited with his old friend Athrun Zala, the pilot of the Justice Gundam, and they soon joined hands to fight against the Earth Alliance's invasion forces, which included three new Gundams, the GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam, the GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam, and the GAT-X370 Raider Gundam. [5] Later, he returned to space along with the Archangel and the Orb battleship Kusanagi, [6] [7] and met up with the support vessel FFMH-Y101 Eternal, which was stolen by Lacus Clyne and her supporters, captained by former ZAFT commander Andrew Waltfeld, and which carried two METEOR units. The three ships then joined forces, becoming the Three Ships Alliance. [8] The direct successor of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, the Strike Freedom was originally built by ZAFT as a prototype machine for eventual mass-production. Development itself, which had started in the same time period as its predecessor, was behind schedule and could not be completed in time due to technical limitations in developing the DRAGOON System. Furthermore, development was influenced by the Junius Treaty and data regarding existing development on the unit, was to be sealed. It remained an incomplete unit with the outbreak of the Second Bloody Valentine War. However, the design data(or perhaps the incomplete unit) was stolen by Terminal, who also deleted the data from the ZAFT Integrated Design Bureau's servers. As with most other mobile suits, the Strike Freedom features two head-mounted CIWS guns, which are used to shoot down incoming missiles and enemy units at close range.
