About this deal

There are advanced splitters that can control the EDID codes, but of course the delivered audio and video has to be downgraded to the lowest format that both sources support. The 500GB hard disk and dual tuner are standard fare these days, but less common is the range of network features, which includes a range of internet content and DLNA streaming of media files across a home network.

With power saving in standby set to 'OFF', loop through to the TV remains totally in tact. Neither of the USB ports become active. Even when the recording starts the USB ports remain inactive. Under these circumstances the only way to activate the USB ports is to toggle the 2000T on and then off again, and the USB ports will then remain active until the recording has finished, providing there is not another recording due to start in the subsequent 40 minutes. Identifies the audio codec that the destination supports, and provide a audio format the destination can support. Pretty sure from another thread about the 2000T that it has a high power standby mode, isn't it (rather confusingly) called Lo-Eco mode or something similar? Hi, I am replacing my Humax PVR 9300 and I think I have narrowed it down to either the HDR-2000T or the DTR-T1000, can anyone explain if there is much difference. Thank you.If you select that mode then it should maintain loop-through in standby. Albeit at the expense of a bit more on your electricity bill. The first was from Robert W, who sent an obviously scripted reply that has no relevance to the problem at all: The DLNA client doesn't show up by default. You have to load the humax portal and then quit it before the network option appears listed.

I’m assuming that running the signal through a hub is just enough of a barrier to cause signal loss whereas running the lead direct the signal is maintained – just. I used mine with an HDMI splitter, and everytime you switched on the tv the audio on the 2000T had gone until the box was rebooted.USB file transfers are incredibly slow compared to the older Fox T2. I have no idea why, but it's frustrating.
