About this deal

The Love Story: Six months after getting custody of her niece Nova, Quincey meets Nate to tell him about his daughter. She (and her father Duke), want Nate to give up his parental rights. However, Nate takes both the fact that they waited six months and their request to sign away his rights as an act of war. However, it was good to see everyone else, even when I don't know why there were included. Mason and Sam were settled but Logan was still a mess - thankfully he didn't offer to screw someone's sister or mother - but him and Taylor still weren't married and he couldn't bring himself to put a ring on it AND in typical Taylor fashion she was still standing by him like the meek weak doormat she is. The problem is that I thought this was the last book in the series. Which was a good thing because book 4 already felt like filler. I was hoping for a great ending. And now not only are there going to be another 2 books in this series, Logan is also getting his own full length novel and Nate and Heather are getting novellas. I was rarely jealous when it came to women. Then again, I'd never cared enough about a singular woman either. Except for Valerie, but she'd been different in a lot of ways."

He slid over so I could get in. As I shut the door behind me, he was beaming at me, “Welcome to Boston!” the complexity of my own sentiments is strictly connected to the details in the story and the characters...now, while I wasn't very much interested in Nate through out Fallen Crest series, he actually intrigued me in his own book...he was all sorts of alphas, so to speak LOL and that was absolutely fantastic to watch, which one would show up in which situation... The story was really good. I loved that the Nate’s entire group of friends was included and I guess I can just never get enough of the crossovers in Tijan’s books. I liked Quincey, who was both strong and weak in different ways. She has grown up with an emotionally abusive father and has never really seen the complete and total effect it has had on her life until she is finally away from him.

We later learn the heroine is basically a pawn for her father which is why she comes at Nate the way she does. After being granted custody of Nova, she gives up her dancing career to be a great mother. (Though she does keep a nanny still. Rich ppl problems I guess smh). The dynamic between the heroine and her father is insane and she is left essentially emotionally unavailable and emotionally challenged. The only one I know for sure she cares about is Nova. Throughout the book I kept wanting her to get actual help. She was repeatedly told no one loved her and no one ever could leaving her with so many unseen scars. This girl needed a hug in the worst way and even though she was so challenged I felt like she kept being blamed for the person she turned into. The family dynamic between her and her family was so twisted but more so with her father who looked at her as a possession. He continually tries to get Nova away from Nate not because he gave two shits about her but because in his eyes she was his to own. Mason growled and ripped the cup from Logan’s hand. “You want to explain that little dig right now?” Logan oh what can I say about him?! Well I love him to pieces. He was his awesome charm as usual funny and super badass. The love between these two brothers is ridiculous I love them so much. Logan loves his brother so much he also hide things from Mason and tried to protect both him and Sam from Park. Poor Nate does get hurt again and it made me so sad for him and then Logan gets hurt and omg I was all full of anger and so pissed at Park I thought I hated him before but I was wrong I hate him more now. Maybe my anger wasn’t anger at all as a tear worked its way up my throat. I was not doing that shit. I couldn’t. Tightening my hands around the steering wheel, I forced that emotion to the bottom of my stomach, and I was hoping to wash it out of me forever. I would not could not break down now.

Nate’s daughter was super cute. For those who don’t like kids in books — she didn’t overwhelm the story. She fit right in at the right moments. I liked how her addition to Nate’s life changed his outlook. Logan winked at me as he kept grinning, pouring the juice into his glass. “Come on, brother. I thought we were all fine with what was discussed. You know, the idea of Sam and me, that there could’ve been…” Forcing a smile on my face, I stepped into the kitchen. Garrett was smiling at me, a look of expectation in his eyes. I frowned. “What?” Ever since I met Nate Monson in the Fallen Crest series, I needed more of him! His story is everything I hoped it would be, and more. For the record, this book can definitely be read as complete standalone! As he left, I got dressed, but it was just Garrett and me. If I’d been at Fallen Crest, I would’ve put on jeans and a better top. Mason and Logan would’ve been at the house all day. Heather might’ve stopped over. Hell. Because of Mark, I was sure some of the Academites would’ve come as well. At this rate, I wouldn’t have even minded them.I’m always going to worry. When it comes to you, there’s nothing I won’t do, and he knows that. That’s my weakness—how much I love you, the lengths I’ll go to protect you.~Mason Her stories–all of them–will ALWAYS be 5 star reads for me because I don't read them like I do other books. They have become my escape, my guilty pleasure, my one exception. They encompass EVERYTHING that would normally drives me bat-shit-crazy, yet they don't. For whatever reason, they are in a class of their own and they work for me BIG TIME. I just hang on and enjoy the crazy ride. La relación romántica no tuvo desarrollo tuvieron que pasar páginas y páginas porque no es un libro corto, para que se dieran UN BESO y es aproximadamente en el 70% las escenas hot son MEEH. I could hear Logan laughing from his end of the phone. He thought the whole thing was hilarious, but I didn’t know why. I had a few childhood friends who were my family. Logan was one of them, along with his brother, and now a whole slew of people we had included in our group. Logan was the lawyer, and like now, he rarely acted like one except when he was gearing up for a case. Yeah?” I had the glass in my one hand and grabbed the phone in my other one, hitting the button so it was now on speaker. I needed to feel free for some reason, and keeping a phone pressed to my ear couldn’t give me that sensation.

Mason is trying to let Sam adjust to her new school year as much as possible so he hide stuff about Park and his plans from her and even from Logan. Sam wants a normal school year so she agrees with Mason to try to make new friends. Regardless she is also going to protect Mason from Sebastian because Mason’s football carrier is most important if he gets in trouble his football carrier is out the window. Therefore she also hides things from him. Lies and secrets are building up once again and when that happens well shit always happens. Mason, I just fall more and more for him. He is soo understanding, giving Sam her space when she needed, and loving her. And I really love how you love me. Completely. Irrevocably. Overwhelmingly. Selflessly. Unconditionally." Sam. She was the old fierce Sam but it irritated me that she kept worrying that Logan loves her. I mean, not everything is about her! But whatever, i still like her.

Nate by Tijan Summary

Mark grinned. “Your dad sent us up here.” He frowned, scanning the rest of the group. “We were thinking the other football players were up here. He wanted to challenge you guys to a scrimmage since we’re not playing each other this year.” Nate immediately calls in his friends Mason and Logan Kade to help him. Mason is a famous football star and Logan is a Lawyer and is very good at his job. They also have some resources from their father who is an influential businessman (both legal and illegal) and is connected.

Sam," he whispered, bending over so that his lips grazed my ear. He kept moving. I felt his body tensing and knew he was right with me. He cursed, gasping. "I love you." My hands tightened on the wheel once again, and just then, I turned the corner, and the hotel where he was staying came into view. The Corebar Hotel was small and exclusive and well-known among the famous and wealthy.Moving forward...the only reason I read this was to get a sense of completion. Nate's book has been a long time coming. So, call it nostalgia if you want. This girl could have been a one night stand. Or a two night stand. He didn't have to make it anything else." Sam said it best. The author could have had nate and valerie bumping into each other again after years and then have another one night stand, instead of having a friends with benefits relationship for YEARS. Also, why did it have to be valerie as the dead bm, why not a completely new character?? AND WHY did the h have to be the sister to the bm? The book is filled with her insecurities: if valerie was alive, would nate choose her and all of that stupid shit. I have to admit it wasn’t what I thought it would be but I still enjoyed the book. I already loved Nate’s character from Fallen Crest but I fell in love with Quinsy too. She was such a beautiful soul and so caring. I want a Mason so bad! I love to picture my visuals while reading, I can't read a faceless character so therefore the reading is much more enjoyful.
