About this deal

Irritancy: None for me. I had this right under my eyes with no issues. Meant for kids so I assume fine for most people too. A: P20 Kids SPF 50 is typically formulated to be water-resistant, but it's advised to reapply after prolonged exposure to water for best protection.

Tris-Biphenyl Triazine, aka Tinosorb A2B, the newest addition to the Tinosorb family that protects strongly in an in-between wavelength that most other filters miss But to prevent your toddler to play outside in the sun completely is just cruel. Therefore, it’s important to teach your children from an early age how to protect themselves in the sun – and hopefully it will help them develop good habits that can last a lifetime. Try to make the application more fun by getting creative. Here is a tip: Make them guess the picture you are drawing as you squeeze the sun cream onto their skin and tell them they can help ‘rub it out’. Or do a ‘Join the dots with the sun cream, letting them spread the cream from one dot to another. Are you into sunscreen agents? We have shiny explanations(along with product lists) about others as well: Ethylhexyl Triazone, aka Uvinul T 150, another new generation sunscreen agent with super-high UVB protection A: P20 is known for its long-lasting and effective sun protection. The Kids SPF 50 version is tailored specifically for children's sensitive skin while maintaining Riemann P20’s commitment to quality sun protection.

If you have a younger child with delicate skin or are generally worried about skin sensitivities, look for suncreams that are labelled as hypoallergenic, fragrance-free or for sensitive skin. P20 has been specially developed with focus on the fact that we want consumers to continuously want to use our products to make sure that they are protected throughout their entire life. When testing and selecting the sunscreen, we considered features such as; protection, water resistance, capacity and ease of application as well as how it would work with different skin types. As a parent it’s a daily task to take precautions to protect your sweethearts – especially from the sun. The best advice is to keep children out of direct sunlight as studies shows that most of the sun damage suffered by our skin occurs before the age of 20. For babies under six months old it is better to avoid them being in the sun at all and all children should aim to stay in the shade during the hottest part of the day between 11am and 3pm. "The recommended age for sunscreen use is from 6 months, while younger babies should really be kept out of the sun altogether, and protected with suitable UV clothing and a hat." suggests Dr Pratsou.

When developing and optimizing our products we focus on the sensory feel of the product as we know that a light and unique texture is key when making consumers want to use a product every day – all year round. Shiny: it is not matte for sure (if you have oily skin like me anyway). But for something with this SPF and PPD, without alcohol, I don't think matte is possible. However, it is not an oily mess either. For reference, Shaka is an oily mess on me, and I have only once found a sunscreen that was totally matte on me (and it was an Korean sunscreen which I am preeetty sure wouldn't live up to the SPF it claimed if tested). This has a bit of shine, but not in a 'just poured sunflower oil on my face whaddya think?' kind of way.A: Yes, but ensure you avoid the eyes and mouth areas. Use caution when applying and consider using a dedicated facial sunscreen if there are concerns. Dr Penelope Pratsou, Consultant Dermatologist and British Skin Foundation Opens a new window spokesperson explains "Sun protection is absolutely essential in children. Sunscreen is a very effective method of protection from the sun’s UV rays against sunburn, skin ageing and most importantly future skin cancer. Studies show that children experience much more significant DNA damage from sun exposure than adults, with childhood sunburn being a recognised risk factor for skin cancer in adulthood. Even one blistering sunburn in childhood can more than double a person’s lifetime risk of melanoma, one of the deadliest skin cancers. Ongoing sun exposure without sun protection results in cumulative sun damage and even higher skin cancer risk."

There are lots of different sunscreens on the market and many are specifically desgined for use on children, but where do you start in finding the right one for your family? P20 has a unique lightweight formula that’s easily absorbed into the skin. It provides a durable protection with no visible trace in just 15 minutes, meaning your family will be ready to get up and go in no time. Furthermore, the range is free from fragrances and colorants, making it the perfect sun protection solution for the whole family. Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol, aka Tinosorb M, the good buddy of our current molecule Tinosorb S We believe that you get the best protection from a sunscreen that delivers a high-performance protection and a texture that you would want to apply to your skin every day. In our unique sunscreen formulations we have developed our product ranges to deliver the best in sun protection and give you the option to choose from both our creams and ethanol-based (clear) sunscreens. Our products have been tested and is proven to deliver on all the parameters that we list on the products. At the same time our formualtions have been tested in user studies to make sure that our formulations also meets the requirements of the consumers when it comes to the sensorial feel of the product in use on your skin. The sum of it all is a unique sunscreen that deliveres the best product and ensures that our consumers will want to apply and reapply P20 today, tomorrow and in the future ahead. A: Yes, adults can use it, especially those with sensitive skin. It's formulated for children, but it provides the same high-level sun protection suitable for anyone. It is an oil-soluble, slightly yellowish powder that is not absorbed into the skin too much. This is good news for a sunscreen agent as it needs to be on the surface of the skin to do its job properly. Regarding Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine side effects, we have good news here as well: it has a great safety profile and unlike a couple of other chemical sunscreens, Trinosorb S (and M) does not showestrogenic activity. It's a new generation sunscreen agent that was specifically designed for high SPF and good UVA protectionand based on a 2007 study that compared 18 sunscreen agents available in the EU it really had the best SPF protection(they used the highest concentration allowed by EU regulations from each 18 sunscreens and Trinosorb S gave an SPF 20 all by itself). We have done this by developing a sunscreen brand that delivers to the highest standards when it comes to product performance including; durability, water resistance, high-level UVB- and UVA protection, and broad-spectrum protection. But at the same time we have improved our formulations to be safe for the skin, AllergyCertified and hypoallergenic, and to be less damaging to the environment by leaving out UV-filters that are known to cause a thread to the environment.
