My formula for the blue in the picture: Fresh hair after bleach level 9-10, ½ Nightfall& ½ Jam. For a deeper blue, I recommend 2/3 Nightfall& 1/3 Velvet. UK mainland only. The underlying pigment in the canvas plays a big part in the end result. Make sure to compensate in your formula or pre-tone the hair if needed to create your desired shade. We also recommend strand testing to ensure the best result. The lighter the hair, the brighter the result. When you think about colors, you need to break them down into two categories: warm and cool. Reds, oranges, and yellows are warm colors while blues, purples, and greens are cool. To identify a hair color that would positively accentuate your features, you first need to know what your skin undertone is.

When thinking of fashion colors, you want to be careful not to choose a color that will wash you out. Those with cool undertones have to be a little more careful and may look best with more pastel varieties, while those with warmer undertones can be a little bolder with deep, vibrant colors. Let’s look at some of the base colors and what undertone they’d be best on: Fades Beautifully:Fades true to the original tone. Blues won’t fade green, pinks won’t fade into salmon.
