THE BRIDE BY DEVNEY PERRY➯ 2½ Stars. Why is this called The Bride...there is literally no bride in this story...and at the end of the story, it says that you can continue the story in The Bribe by Devney Perry (& Willa Nash). I'm thinking this is a typo, but seriously that is a really huge typo...how do you mess up the title? Anyway, this is just the beginning of a full novel-sized story and leaves you maybe wanting more...I know I’m not wanting more, though.

THE STORY BY EVAN GRACE➯ 2 Stars. It wasn't badly written so I gave it extra star...but seriously it was so freaking boring...just a tale of a first date where absolutely nothing exciting happens...I think they have sex...but I'm not sure because I skimmed. I see some just buy these for their author so they can read that, but I'm the one who reads em all unless it's in third person, then I need to pass. Beyah’s plan is to keep her head down and let the summer slip by seamlessly, but her new neighbor Samson throws a wrench in that plan.This one was good as well even though I found her reasoning to stay together very wrong! It always hurts to break up, but when there are no feelings you can't keep the other on the line. Every one deserves to find their one true love. This Colleen Hoover series revolves around the lives of Sky Davis and Dean Holder. It explores themes of love, trauma, and uncovering dark family secrets. Hopeless and Losing Hope tell the story from both Sky and Holder’s perspectives, offering a deeply emotional and interconnected narrative that delves into their pasts and their journey towards healing and love. I think I would read more about Chloe since this book was funny in an awkward way. This is the first short story related to another story I'd be interested in reading more. A little bit of mystery with a meet-cute and maybe a bribe? I might look into finding this book and finishing the story…

Oh my goodness, what an adorable short. This novella is a friends-to-lovers romance that gave me exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I was hooked on Emily and Austin and they stole my heart. THE DEAL BY ALEATHA ROMIG➯ 3¾ Stars. The writing was better than most of the stories in this anthology and I really enjoyed The Light Series by this author but so far I haven’t felt intrigued enough by any of her other stuff to give them a try, and this story was only okay for me.The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Morgan Grant and her sixteen-year-old daughter, Clara, would like nothing more than to benothingalike. But that peace is shattered when Chris is involved in a tragic and questionable accident. The heartbreaking and long-lasting consequences will reach far beyond just Morgan and Clara. I read R.K. Lilley for the first time earlier this year, but I had forgotten about it. This novella made me want to read more! I loved the whole set up with Leona and Fitz. Can we please get a book for them?

I was enjoying this until Paul referred to Eight's breasts as fun bags entirely seriously in an intensely dangerous moment. Seriously? Another first chapter of a book that I wouldn't be interested in reading. Any guy who can't stop thinking about getting laid while being shot at and running for his life is not a guy I want to read more about. Eight and Deal were interesting, and I could've read more about them, though.A MEET CUTE AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS BY EMMA SCOTT➯ 4½ STARS. This is a super sweet, super short little romantic story that takes place in Hawaii...for the most part, anyway. Since I love everything this woman writes...I knew I would like this too. Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity’s notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. At the time of writing there are 26 Colleen Hoover books. This includes novels and novellas that are both standalone and part of a series. Colleen Hoover Books 2023 Man all I can say is that I need to go read the Crew series…I had no idea that Tijan had an MC series!!! Woot..woot..one of my favs!!
