About this deal

He has a great gift. He has the gift to inspire' Bill Clinton, former President of the United States Finally, at age twenty, after becoming a regular on the lot, Steven showed Universal a modest film he had put together, and he was offered a seven-year contract to direct a TV series. He'd made his dream come true. Throughout history, the power to control our lives has taken many different and contradictory forms. In the earliest times, power was simply the result of physiology. He who was the strongest and the fastest had power to direct his own life as well as the lives of those around him. As civilization developed, power resulted from heritage. The king, surrounding himself with the symbols of his realm, ruled with unmistakable authority. Others could derive power by their association with him. Then, in the early days of the Industrial Age, capital was power. Those who had access to it dominated the industrial process. All those things still play a role. It's better to have capital than not to have it. It's better to have physical strength than not to. However, today, one of the largest sources of power is derived from specialized knowledge. What if there was a way to take action that accelerated the learning process? What if I could show you how to learn the precise lessons that people of excellence have already learned? What if you could learn in minutes what someone took years to perfect? The way to do this is through modeling, a way to reproduce precisely the excellence of others. What do they do that sets them apart from those who only dream of success? Let's discover...

Now, I´m going to go more in depth in the chapters I fully read and tell why I think what I think about them. Unlimited power is the first book I’ve read about NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) by Anthony Robbins. If you seek to change your life, improve yourself or if you are simply curious about how you can adjust your perception of the world around you with cascading effects, this is for you. Obviously this is only one of the many principles that makes the foundation of this very complete book. Unlimited power is mostly practical and give a lot of exercises to do, most of them, if done correctly, providing immediate results and can be fun to try. The examples may seem a bit dated (you have to keep in mind that the book was first published in 1986) but the theory is timeless. He has shown heads of state, royalty, Olympic and professional athletes and film stars how to achieve. Of course if you combine things like legumes, with let´s say oats and beans, you are going to be full of gases afterwards and feel bad and without energy. But this is not what Tony says about food combining, just pseudo-science like "don´t combine proteins with carbs because the digest differently". With the exception of vegetables, almost every food contains a PORTION OF EVERY MACRONUTRIENT, and they are all mixed in the stomach, which release the same kind of acid and enzymes every time no matter the type of food. Just try eating 1000kcal of carbs like rice and veggies at once, and you will be amazed with the insulin peak and the incredible feeling of tiredness due to the extra work your pancreas is doing to move too much glucose at once.

Consider Steven Spielberg. At the age of thirty-six, he's become the most successful filmmaker in history. He's already responsible for four of the ten top-grossing films of all time, including E. T., The Extra-Terrestrial, the highest-grossing film ever. How did he reach that point at such a young age? It's a remarkable story.Robbins introduce al lector la herramienta de la PNL, Programación Neurolingüística, para mejorar la calidad de la vida, tanto a nivel personal como profesional. NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR AND COACH TO MILLIONS BRINGS A TRANSFORMATIVE GUIDE TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS.

Tony Robbins' coaching has made a remarkable difference in my life both on and off the court. He's helped me to discover what I'm really made of, and I've taken my tennis game - and my life - to a whole new level!' Serena Williams, 22-time Grand Slam tennis champion and Olympic gold medalist I would recommend reading some chapters of the book, not the whole one. Here is a little classification I will develop in more depth later in this review: I always act from personal integrity --» Integrity means wholeness/being true to yourself. Integrity is a set of specific beliefs about how you operate in your world. You can not go out in the world and impose your beliefs on someone who has different set of beliefs and then say, you're out of integrity. However, what you can say is that your integrity is different than mine. Always remind yourself this in a human conflict, "No matter how thin you slice it, there will always be two sides." ― Baruch Spinoza I am totally responsible for my life and my world + I am in charge of my life and my world + I create my life and my world --» Because if you're not, then who is? Water and food with water: again right, the quality and quantity of water is vital for our body to work. This is one of the most controversial books I have ever read. Robbins has for sure a few useful things here that may help you, but they are mixed with tons of pseudo-scientific "psychology" that, in the best case, is useful in the short-term, and in the worst, even harmful. My point here is simply that it takes effort to create depression. It's hard work, and it requires taking specific types of actions. Some people have created this state so often, though, that it's easy for them to produce. If fact, often they've linked this pattern of internal communication to all kinds of external events. Some people get so many secondary gains -- attention from others, sympathy, love, and so on -- that they adopt this style of communication as their natural state of living. Others have lived with it so long that it actually feels comfortable. They become identified with the state. We can, however, change our mental and physical actions and thereby immediately change our emotions and behaviors.
