About this deal

I have been loving this fragrance since 2018. At the time when I received my first bottle as a gift, I had no idea what a fougere was and no preconceptions about perfumery in general. I simply thought it smelled very good, and so I wore it. Just about every day. OCCASIONS: Formal events, outdoor gatherings, office, business, casual, home. This is an office-friendly fragrance.

I wore it the other day at work for the first time and I even got a few compliments from my coworkers! Fun fact: when I tested it for the first time I thought of it as a bit weak performer considering Extrait de Parfum concentration but I just think that after a while I don't feel it anymore but it seems everyone around me actually do! Although I was initially disappointed, I've changed my tune. It smells manly and capable; robust and natural. I'm truly impressed by this fragrance, and I'm grateful that there are companies like Nishane willing to make something simple yet high quality. This is going to be perfect in the mild, sunny, and blossoming season of Spring, which I hope is right around the corner. Edit: so for longevity it lasted on my skin about 5 hrs before it turned into a skin scent. If not for it being on my clothes, it would have disappeared altogether.

BELODORE WORLDWIDE

Anyway, the longevity of this fragrance is really good. I got around 14hrs of longevity with strong projection. The execution is impressive, which should come as no surprise as the scent was created by Cécile Zarokian. The Paris-based perfumer has produced standouts such as Amouage Epic Woman, Jovoy Private Label and Masque Milano Tango, as well as the delightfully powdery Nishane Nanshe.

This is very beautiful. If you’re looking for a better made libre, without the astringent smell most designers have or the abhorrent lavender note, this is the perfume for you. This is remarkably well made, something that even untrained noses upon smelling this said that it “smells expensive”. I personally enjoy libre on others very much, there’s quite a bit more vanilla and you can't quite smell the astringent thing unless you’re wearing it yourself, and it has a beautiful scent bubble. This is better, stronger and more refined. All in all, this dna isn’t for me because it’s associated too closely to people I know and wear things like this exclusively (the same person that said this smells “expensive and like it costs billion upon billions of dollar to have it, and you still have much more to wear it”)Anyway, this cologne starts with tuberose. This floral aroma will blow your mind away. Soon it mixes with peach and mandarin orange and creates a fantastic opening. I personaly think that B-612 is extremely underrated. It works perfect in hot weather and in office or work surrounding. Notes are lavander, geranium, cypress, cashmeran, sandalwood, cedar, oakmoss, musk, patchouli and tonka bean. Most prominent ones are sharp lavander, maybe the most natural one I ever smelled then cypress, cedar and patchouli in the dry-down with oakmoss, tonka and sandalwood to soften up the edges. The florals that follow – fruity (rose and osmanthus) and fresh (jasmine and geranium) – are given a subtly spicy twist with earthy nutmeg.

DISLIKE RATING: 2/10. The spicy accords are noticeable; some people are likely to find them offensive. Tom Ford Private Blends have finally explicitly dipped into fougere territory, this time with the brand's own re-imagining of the formula, oakmoss being replaced with akigala wood, said by one source to be a enzymatic variation of patchouli. Its aromatic, a bit balsamic, sweet undertone, creamy, super smooth and an incredible high quality natural smell. The name really even conveys the way this smells, and the Le Petit Prince story behind really giveS this Ethereal and innocent vibe to it.

Preferences

That leaves Beau De Jour (in my case, the Private Blend version) as the screamer. It's definitely the most unapologetic one of the trio. I absolutely love it & get tons of compliments on it... But if you appreciate BDJ, you'd probably love Platine & d'Argent, too... Admittedly, you may need a couple wears to realize it, but at least you'll smell great doing it. Projection wise this is a scent that lets people know you are on your way. It’s a bold projector with a huge sillage, especially for being also somewhat of a freshie. And the longevity is great as on most Nishane fragrances I have tried. The name is beautiful, isn’t it? It is inspired by a poem written by Rumi. And they tried to say perfume is also a way to communicate.

Because of how Tempfluo also behaves I urge you to not make the mistake to just smell it from the bottle or from a blotter as that will most certainly give off the wrong impression. Tempfluo needs to be tried out on your skin. Created with the idea of how scents have the ability to bring to life precious memories and emotions, the perfume house has been loved by perfume lovers all over the world and has become one of the most famous, most used and best-selling niche perfume brands in the world. Fougere d'Argent, as its name implies, is a post-modern fougere, aka a fougere created to immediately spark the idea of what you are smelling is a fougere, just in case 'fougere' being part of the name wasn't clear enough to prepare you for what you are going to smell.

SAZNAJ PRVI!

After some time, Gardenia, jasmine makes the whole heart floral and soon it mixes with orris which balances the sweetness. The sweetness at the end is very reserved, a little bitter and hardly worth mentioning. You shouldn't expect an oriental Sillage-Wummser here, but on the performance side he does quite well and stays on my skin all day long.
