At the end of the day, you are not going to make your NUCs absolutely silent. Live with it. This is the penalty that you have to pay to have an ultra small form factor design with as much power as the NUCs have. If you don't like it and can't live with it, then don't buy a ultra small form factor PC. Roasting your processor to keep it quiet isn't the answer. If it fails inside your 3-year warranty, sure, Intel is likely going to replace it, but once you go beyond that, if you want the NUC to last a goodly number of years (without having to replace it at your own expense), then you better take care of it.CONFIDENTIALITY. This Agreement and the Materials are Intel confidential information and subject to Your valid corporate non-disclosure agreement with Intel (CNDA). Except as authorized in Section 2.1, you must not disclose this information to anyone, including the U.S. government. This Agreement will not become effective, or will automatically terminate, in the absence of a CNDA. No Implied License. Except for the express license in Section 2.1, Intel does not grant any express or implied licenses to you under any legal theory. Intel does not license You to make, have made, use, sell, or import any Intel technology or third-party products, or perform any patented process, even if referenced in the Materials. Any other licenses from Intel require additional consideration. Nothing in this Agreement requires Intel to grant any additional license.

This SOFTWARE LICENSE AND CLOUD SERVICES AGREEMENT, including all appendices and exhibits (collectively, this “Agreement”) is entered into between Intel Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“Intel”) and You. If You intend to access the Cloud Services in addition to using the Software, the terms and conditions of Appendix B apply to Your access and use of the Cloud Services (as defined in Appendix B), in addition to the terms and conditions of this Agreement applicable to Your access and use of the Software. “You” refers to you or your employer or other entity for whose benefit you act, as applicable. If you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this Agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that legal entity to the Agreement, in which case, "You" or "Your" shall be in reference to such entity. Intel and You are referred to herein individually as a “Party” or, together, as the “Parties”. Severability. If a court holds a provision of this Agreement unenforceable, the court will modify that part to the minimum extent necessary to make that part enforceable or, if necessary, to sever that part. The rest of the provision remains fully enforceable. The purpose of this AUP is to inform all companies of the acceptable uses of the Cloud Services. Intel is committed to encouraging the use of the Cloud Services, but such use must be consistent with the laws and regulations governing use of the Internet and must protect the right of its other companies to use its Cloud Services. The AUP is designed to achieve these goals. You agree to comply with the AUP and are responsible for the use of the Cloud Services by all entities and individuals whom You permit to use the Cloud Services. Intel has the right to change or modify the terms of the AUP at any time, effective when posted to the Cloud Services portal. Your use of the Cloud Services after changes to the AUP are posted shall constitute acceptance of any changed or additional terms. LICENSE TO USE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS. This Agreement does NOT obligate Licensee to provide Intel with comments or suggestions regarding the Software. However, if Licensee provides Intel with comments or suggestions for the modification, correction, improvement or enhancement of (a) the Software or (b) Intel products or processes that work with the Software, Licensee grants to Intel a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, under Licensee’s intellectual property rights, to incorporate or otherwise utilize those comments and suggestions.f) “Intel Data” means all aggregate information, raw data, analytics and data created, derived or generated in any manner from or by the Software or Cloud Services during Your, Your employees, contractors, or end users use of Software or the Cloud Services but does not include Customer Data. WAIVER. The failure of a Party to require performance by the other Party of any provision hereof will not affect the full right to require such performance at any time thereafter; nor will waiver by a Party of a breach of any provision hereof constitute a waiver of the provision itself.
