Relate Cambridge is a non-profit organisation that offers a huge range of relationship counselling services across Cambridgeshire on a sliding scale based on income. They also offer limited free counselling in Girton, Huntingdon and Sawston. The Kite Trust runs LGBTQ+ one to one and group support for young people up to the age of 25 across Cambridgeshire. to 25 year olds - Young people aged 18 to 25 can self-refer to Centre 33 and the ways to do this are here. They work with young carers up to their 19th birthday. They work in schools, groups, one to one and with community groups across Cambridgeshir e and Peterborough. LGBTQ+ Mature runs weekly meetups for the LGBTQ+ over 50’s every Tuesday to offer support and companionship. We understand that young people struggling with a severe mental illness cope better living in a family environment wherever possible, and so we work hard to ensure the 'staying in hospital' part of your recovery is as short and as effective as possible.Youthoria will help anyone with young people and families, not only to develop a framework for learning and practice that makes sense of the complexity of young people's needs....but to do so in ways which make sense to young people too. When a young person is first admitted to the Darwin, they will be welcomed by an admitting nurse and a doctor, who will carry out the admission paperwork, a physical examination and go through your medical history. We understand that being admitted to hospital can seem quite scary so we offer lots of support to help young people feel at home. Parents/carers are welcome to help young people settle in and they will have lots of opportunities to visit. This can provide longer or unlimited numbers of sessions and can massively reduce the amount of time it takes to be seen by a professional. offers guided access to an extraordinarily wide range of published research, evidence and practice wisdom unprecedented in a single volume, accessible to specialist and generalists alike Kooth.com and Qwell.io are commissioned to provide an online wellbeing platformwhich along with text based counsellingalso includes helpful articles, forums, activity centre, daily journal and messaging. We provide British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited services and Kooth is available to young people aged 11-18 and Qwell is available from 18+in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It is a partnership between four organisations.
