About this deal

Fitbit Versa 3 features Active Zone Minutes. Active Zone Minutes help make every minute of your workout count by giving your wrist a buzz when entering your personalized target heart rate zone. This is an excellent feature for those that love heart-based training. Daily Readiness requires a Fitbit Premium membership. Premium content recommendations are not available in all locales and may be in English only. Included information about Calm meditation sessions and snore and noise detection features being added.

Based on this data, Fitbit provides a daily Sleep Score between 0-100. Most mornings my score landed in the 80s, although on one particularly restless night I landed in the 40s with hardly two hours of sleep under my belt (or covers.) Fitbit Versa 3 review: Smartwatch features Another great option to consider is the new Garmin Venu Sq. It sports many of the same health sensors as the Versa 3, and many users swear that the Garmin ecosystem is the best for fitness fanatics. Plus, it's a bit more affordable than the Versa 3. Alternatively, the newer Venu 2 is a more premium counter to the Versa 3, though it's priced accordingly. The Health Metrics dashboard and the metrics displayed in the dashboard are not available in all countries. Not intended for medical purposes. This feature is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition and should not be relied on for any medical purposes. It is intended to provide information that can help you manage your well-being. Additionally, the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Ace have extra features such as stress management and monitoring, ECG, and it is designed for Kids respectively. Keeping the screen always-on, though, drains the battery significantly, giving you no more than two days on a full charge. And if you use the GPS combined with the always-on display, you’ll need to charge the battery every day. On the right edge of the watch chassis is a tiny mic and a speaker which, in theory, should allow you to take calls. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer, a UL-certified USB wall charger, or another low-energy charging device.

Navigating through the menus and apps via the screen is also a walk in the park – not once did the screen lag during our testing period, and swiping to bring up different functions works remarkably well. The biggest difference between the two watches is that the Versa 3 has its own on-board GPS, while the Versa 2 has to use your phone's GPS receiver. Despite that, performance is excellent, as we've come to expect from Fitbit devices. Battery life is about six days on a dim screen setting, but it drops to half that if you have the display set to always-on. GPS isn't as pinpoint accurate as on some other bands we've reviewed, but for the average user that won’t matter very much. The heart rate monitor is now a bit more precise than the Versa 2, but without a chest strap to compare, it’s hard to judge exactly how accurate it is. Alexa is, of course, on board to help you answer some questions that are displayed on the device, and with Google buying Fitbit, a firmware update some time in the future will add Google Assistant to the wearable as well.Requires a Premium subscription. Only available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese and Korean. Charge Versa 3 for 12 minutes for 24 hours of battery life. While the watch charges, tap the screen twice or press the button to turn the screen on. The battery level appears for several seconds, then disappears so you can use your watch while it charges. Charging fully takes about 1-2 hours. I started this review by saying that Fitbit had kept the Versa design the same, and at a glance that’s true. But the company has been gradually reducing the presence of physical buttons: there were three on the first-generation device, and this was reduced to one on the Versa Lite and Versa 2. Now, there are no buttons at all: just an indent on the left-hand side which functions as a pressure-sensitive “inductive” button like the one that debuted on the Fitbit Charge 3. Once its set up, the app offers an overview of the Versa 3's main features. The entire process only takes about 10 minutes.
