The vacuum has multiple filter stages and instructions right on the side of the vacuum for how to disassemble to clean. Overall ease of use: Incredible. It was so lightweight, so easily maneuverable that my kids used it. My 6 and 4 year-olds actually fought to take turns with it. They dislike our cord vacuum because it's tall and heavy. However, this one was small enough at just five pounds that they could use it, which is a plus for petite users or those with low strength. It does a very good job of vacuuming pet hair and is very quiet (65dB) for the power level it offers.
