What is the ThinkPad T440, the last device from the T440-series in our editorial office, capable of? Compared to the predecessor, the honorable ThinkPad T430, we think that especially the case has been improved. The chassis is now considerably thinner, the weight has been reduced and the design is now up to date as well, at least for ThinkPad standards.
The chiclet keyboard is well made and reflects typical ThinkPad quality. The keys offer a moderate stroke and a good pressure point; the stroke noise is quite quiet. The keyboard mat is firmand does not give easily. Specifically, on this laptop, you will get a standard 4 GB RAM soldered to the motherboard. Then, there is a slot that houses removable RAM.
