About this deal

Finally, and most importantly, the sound from them is unbelievable. Personally, I use these for when I'm playing my guitar through GarageBand on my computer. For me, they are the perfect headphones for such a task. Sound is crisp, clear and the bass is perfect on them. Not too much, not too little. The former ( K371) is basically unlistenable (due to how he mixed it), but the latter ( K702) makes it sound pretty incredible, all things considered. K612 My full sized headphone journey has been a long one (mostly mid-fi), but a distinctly enjoyable one. It has allowed me to learn a lot about my own preferences, and also allowed me to spend considerable time with some good, some great, and some not-so-good cans. La presión que ejencen los muelles de acero y su remachado, hacen que la diadema se "magulle" y se deforme por falta de consistencia. Mala longevidad le auguro a esta parte del auricular.

Speaking of ears, how do they fit? What’s the build like? Are there any cosmetic differences? Absolutely. People complained of discomfort and in some cases, that the bumps even left indentations in their heads!

The measure a bit more different on Oratory's plots but it is not known whether this is due to averaging of a few copies of the same headphone or a measured difference. Build Quality: The K612 is a well-made headphone and feels solid in my hands. Only gripe is the cable isn't detachable but it's not really something I'm worried about as the cable quality is good and I take good care of my headphones. I wouldn’t get too caught up in the discrepancies here as the bass on each is fairly similar at the end of the day. The K 712 review out at Headfonics and received lots of praise. Looks like the new K series is not just (as some claim) some sort of re-branding of previous versions. A comparion of the K612 and K712 would be interesting indeed.

Let me start by saying that I really like the sound of both. I’ve always been a fan of AKG’s presentation. If I was to sum them up in a short sentence (both headphones) – then it would be: TV/"Home theatre" Setup: Sony Bravia KDL42w653a (calibrated with Spyder4Pro and HCFR) -> miniDSP 2x4 -> JBL 308P Mkii Speakers (2-channel) & SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer Comfort: This headphone was comfortable from the beginning to me but the stiff pads did bother me after a bit. A few weeks of use and the pads soften up and become much more comfortable. I have no complaints about the leather headband, there are no bumps and is plenty big enough to distribute weight well. i dont know if it depends by quality or power of amp but they are special with EF2A and they sound more better with a good dac ( dac of matherboard are not suitable) .Imaging: The imaging of this headphone is very accurate and precise, this headphone excels imaging. You have a very good idea where the instruments are located and there is good separation.

As a big fan of the AKG K701, I was hoping for the best with the K-612, but concerned that they might be a disappointment. I needn't have worried - if anything, they sound a little better than the K-701. There’s nothing about the 712 that warrants the price over the 702 – i.e. it doesn’t inherently do anything better.Como digo adquirí este aricular de segunda mano, y tengo que decir que está en muchas mejores condiciones de uso que el anterior AKG K 612 Pro cuya refrencia esta mas arriba.

I almost never find myself wanting to listen to it (outside of doing this A/B/C), and do plan to either give it away or sell it. Both my NFB-12 and the LD MKIV (to my ears) are very good with the K702 and K612. I definitely don’t feel I’m missing anything. My actual preference with both is the NFB-12 over the LD. The K612, K712, and K702 represent the most significant discrepancies between the entire line of K600 and 700 headphones. It just sounds so right; a signature you could listen to for hours and never get bored or fatigued musically.eH250, SRH840, MS1i, AD700, DT880 Pro, SRH940, HD600, HM5, K701, DT880 600 ohm, SR325i (woody) SRH840 (again), Q701, SRH1840, Mad Dogs 3.2, K702, HD600 (again), K612 – and the very soon to arrive RS1. ortho transplants: Fostex T40v1/Phiaton PS500, SFI-120/Sextett, Fostex T50rp/V-Moda Crossfade, Fostex T50rp/Beyer COP
