Depending on your needs, some of these options may be a better choice. Edifier R1700BT Review First, the low-end is sufficiently deep without overpowering boominess. You can add a subwoofer if the bass is insufficient for your needs. Second, the mids are remarkable without muddy tones. Also, the highs are clean, and there is an excellent balance between the mids and lows. As a result, spoken words come out clearly both in vocal performances and dialogue in movies. A light on the front of the active speaker will change colour to show what the current input mode is. This light will change to blue when you are in Bluetooth mode.
The size of the speakers are fairly compact also. The remote control is fairly simple and sturdy with just a mute button and the volume control.
