My daughter found that she needed a half spoonful of extra borax activator than the instructions called for to get the slime to a good consistency. Once she figured that out, the rest of the batches went without a problem.STEP 2. Now’s the time to add your food coloring and other add-ins. Mix the color into the glue and water mixture. Add one cup of shaving cream to the bowl and stir. Be careful to stir gently or your slime will be less fluffy in the end. STEP 4. Start kneading your slime. It will appear stringy at first but just work it around with your hands and you will notice the consistency changes. You can also put it in a clean container and set it aside for 3 minutes, and you will also notice the change in consistency!
