About this deal

After being constantly bombarded with themes of feminism from the mainstream entertainment providers, I was astounded how graciously Turkish writers managed to portray the strength of women in this show while simultaneously immersing them in their traditional roles. The primary example of this is Azize, the ultimate mother and the ideal wife of our hero Cevdet. Her motherly love towards everyone around her never stands in the way of protecting her family; it is really intriguing to observe how those two principles clash when her double-agent husband comes into play. She can be very decisive and proud when fighting for homeland as well as modest and humble when bearing sacrifices for her loved ones. The series begins with the Balkan Wars, after World War One and the death of Hasan Tahsin, who was the first to open fire on the Greek soldiers that landed at Izmir on May 15, 1919. The first season finished with the foundation of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on April 23, 1920. [3]

The characterization , character complexities , different aspects of people , representation of situations , family values , love , respect all are so beautifully shown in this that i can't get enough of this . Now this was about the drama lets move to the history . Show is based on independence war of turkey and how makers showed history with drama is just out of this world . If you have watched indian shows or even indian web series based on our history you would know that even after we have a rich history and many historical stories , our show and series makers never do justice with them , with our wars , struggles for independence and so on . You hardly get any inspiration from Those shows but this gem of a show will make you realise all those struggles . Watching this show without having any expectations gave me an unforgettable and joyful ride. I was completely overwhelmed with such an amazing story, incredible characters, and the element of surprises I went through in every single episode.Based on a true story about the Turkish War for Independence (1919-1923), after which Turkey (Türkiye) became a nation. Vatanim Sensin tell us about a fascinating time in Turkish history, during the partition of the Ottoman Empire and the abolition of the Sultanate. The series focuses on western Turkey, the territory surrounding Izmir and the invasion of Greek military forces that were supported and funded by the european political power brokers of the day.

Cevdet wants to do his best for his country without thinking about his future. Some of his peers even start to save their lives before the fall of Ottoman Empire. During these hard times, Cevdet is betrayed by his close friend Tevfik ( Onur Saylak) and finds himself as captured by allied military soldiers for 8 years. Vatanım Sensin Yeni Sezon Fragmanı İzle". Kanal D (in Turkish). 7 October 2016 . Retrieved 2017-10-13. In wounded love tv series story, you will explore the last days of Ottoman Empire while considering what is true love. Can love stay unwounded in the face of betrayal? Will Cevdet reveal the reason why he is on the Greece side? Will Azize continue to love his husband even if she is considering that he is a traitor? Will Cevdet learn that his close friend Tevfik has betrayed to his country? What will happen to Ottoman Empire? How will the public react against the occupation of Izmir? years later, Yildiz (Pinar Deniz) becomes a beautiful young lady who behaves selfishly and only wishes to have a wealthy and gleamy life. Hilal (Miray Daner) becomes a fighter against occupants of Izmir and becomes organized with her friends to secretly publish newspaper to provoke the public against occupation. Ali Kemal (Kubilay Aka) becomes an ill-tempered young man who tries to cope with his secret love. And Azize tries to do her best to have control over her 3 children. Vatanim Sensin – Azize finds herself in a tought time with her 3 children and mother-in-law, she raises her children while fighting the difficulties of the war period and her husband’s absence whom she loves more than anything, it’s about war, love, greed, treason and sacrifice. It has very meaningful messages, facts and history, and we do not get to see something like this these days as most of the shows lately are more easily forgotten. "Vatanim Sensin" is an exception, it's a treasure and simply classic. Tevfik, the traitor, secretly loves Azize for a long time and betrays his close friend mainly for this reason. He informs Azize that Cevdet is killed during the war and lets them leave Balkans and move into İzmir, the city in the Aegean region of Turkey. Azize has nothing to do but to leave everything behind and start a new life for her family. She struggles to keep her family together during the most difficult times of her country even though she misses her beloved husband each day.

I am not usually the type to become invested in Turkish soap-opera, but this one surprisingly stood out. I started watching it on a local channel three years ago, but they soon cut the series off so I had to stream it. After 120 hours of investment in Azize and Cevdet's adventures, I believe I'm ready to give my two cents about it. The second season begins with the Treaty of Sèvres on August 10, 1920. The series finished with Liberation of İzmir by Turkish army on September 9, 1922. [4] [5] Plot [ edit ] Just stuff that we think about and discuss at Roosterville HQ (we try not to get political, although we live in a political world as Bob Dylan told us on an album of seemingly predictions of our current world 20 years ago) Cevdet is such a colorful and a brilliantly portrayed male lead. He possesses outstanding emotional strength when it comes to hiding his double-agent identity and yet he can be so vulnerable when Azize is around. His morals are unbreakable and keep on coflicting throughout the show which makes him very relatable and manages to keep the show interesting throughout its long run. I enjoy watching him display the traditional heroic traits like courage and persistence as well as the grief and despair in times of chaos. In an occupied Turkish city, a Turkish soldier starts to work for the enemy. But he is not really on the side of the enemy. He must keep this secret at the cost of losing his family.

Azize, on the other hand, will find herself in a difficult struggle with her husband, three children and mother-in-law. After the incident that happened to his wife, whom he loved dearly, the Ankara Government will raise his children by struggling with the absence of Cevdet, who went to the Greek side as an agent in favour of Mustafa Kemal and his friends, and the difficulties of the war years. Yıldız is a beautiful girl with high eyes and Hilal is a patriotic and combative young girl. The series is well written. The pace of the storyline is tight and consistent. The characters are interesting and wonderfully portrayed - Halit as the Greek General Cevdet and his Turkish wife, the long suffering and beautiful Azize. Each episode ends in a cliff hanger and I am usually pretty good at figuring things out ahead of time but throughout the entire series, there was only one connection I was able to determine accurately. Cevdet wants to do his best for his country without thinking about his future. Some of his peers even start to save their lives before the fall of the Ottoman Empire. During these hard times, Cevdet is betrayed by his close friend Tevfik (Onur Saylak) and finds himself captured by allied military soldiers for 8 years. Bosnia and Herzegovina - The series premiered on Pink BH in 2017 and on Federalna TV in 2020 as Ti si moja domovina
